Singer Michelle Williams has unveiled the artwork for her “Say Yes,” single, officially available for pre-order via iTunes today.

An unauthorized version of the single, which features Michelle’s Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Beyonce Knowles, was leaked last week.

The single, a reworked version of a popular Nigerian gospel song, hit the web and quickly garnered Michelle’s rave reviews from several prestigious music bibles, including Rolling Stone and Billboard.

Michelle Williams Debuts ‘Fire’ Video


Singer Michelle Williams lights up the screen in her just released video for her single “Fire.”

The track was originally released last year and is the second to be taken from her “Journey to Freedom” album, due out later this year.

The visual, just like the single’s cover art, were helmed by photographer Derek Blanks, who Michelle recently called a “visual genius.”

LeToya Luckett Defends Michelle Williams Against Online Bullies

“Single Ladies” actress LeToya Luckett is coming to the defense of her longtime friend, fellow Destiny’s Child alum, Michelle Williams.

In a recent interview to promote her new film “From the Rough,” Toya was asked what she thought on the recent online bullying Michelle has been subjected to, particularly the long-trending Twitter hash tag #PoorMichelle.

According to LeToya, she was unaware of the tag, but goes on to call it “gross,” and says she wishes people would think before they use social media to attack people in the public eye.

Michelle Williams Teams Up With Playtex


Former Destiny’s Child singer Michelle Williams has teamed up with Playtex to become the face of their Play On Playbook campaign, a social media program that celebrates confident women who laugh off life’s curveballs and persevere with grace.

As the campaign’s official spokesperson, Michelle will share her own personal Play On moments via Playtex’s official Facebook page. The “On the Run” singer will also invite other women to share how they navigate life’s many wardrobe malfunctions, bad dates, face plants, and other little challenges.

Michelle Williams Teams Up with Fantasia


Singer Michelle Williams has teamed up with fellow R&B diva Fantasia for the remix of her gospel inspired single ‘If We Had Your Eyes.’

The track is the first to be released from Michelle’s upcoming fourth solo album ‘Journey to Freedom, due out sometime in 2014.

Michelle called the collaboration “a dream” on Twitter, and told fans they can expect more surprises when the album is released.

Last week singer Michelle Williams gave us a taste of her new single “Fire.” This week, Michelle goes a step further and unveils the cover art, which was shot by photographer to the stars, Derek Blanks. “Fire” will be released in its entirety later today. It can also be had bundled with Michelle’s previous single “If We Had Yoyr Eyes,” should be choose to buy it from Walmart.

Michelle Williams’ New Song


Singer Michelle Williams has a freebie for all her fans who buy her new single “If We Had Your Eyes” from Walmart.

According to Michelle, the Walmart version comes bundled with a second single, “Fire,” which you can get a quick listen to below.

Michelle’s upcoming fourth solo CD, “Journey to Freedom,” will be released sometime in early 2014 and features what she calls a “ratchet urban sound.”

As for a possible reunion with her Destiny’s Child bandmates on the new album, Michelle says that won’t happen, but another unexpected collabo will.

“I have some beats on this album that are really turnt up,” Michelle told Billboard. “I also collaborated with somebody that people are gonna be shocked about. It’s really amazing. The fans are going to go crazy when they hear it.”

Singer Michelle Williams has finally unveiled the D. Blanks directed visual for her new single “If We Had Your Eyes.

In an interview last week, D. promised Michelle’s video would be “out of the ordinary,” and I really think the two of them accomplished just that with this clip.

There is an obvious Trayvon Martin reference in the video, as well as a very unexpected guest spot from someone who ten years ago you would not have expected to see in a Michelle Williams video.
