Ladies, have you ever been faced with this intimacy issue? You are dating a guy for a while. He is genuinely a good man. You know that he sincerely cares for you. You take your relationship to the next level only to find out that his sex is wack. You two simply do not connect in the sack. Do you continue to date him? In a perfect world one would answer yes. Its just sex right? Something as simple as sex should not come between you and a possible true love. Other would disagree vehemently saying that sex is a big part of the relationship for some people. Why would any woman want to be with a man that could not satisfy her? It would lead her to cheat. Some people divorce over not being sexually compatible or the spark in the bedroom fizzling out.
The question would be is it worth it? I would say no. If you find a good man, then you should work with him. Especially if he is willing to make changes and adjustments to keep you pleased in bed. Others would disagree with me and say that life is short and it is maybe too short to some to have to be with someone who is not keeping you orgasmically happy. If you do stay then you are settling.
I suppose the answer to this would lie in what matters most to you. Is having great sex worth loosing a possible life partner? Some assume that if the person does not meet all of their needs in every capacity then they were never meant to be your life partner. I know many women can understand when I say that I have had the experience of dating someone who wasn’t “shit” as some women would say but the loving made up for the difference. At times, it can make you excuse things that you wouldn’t normally tolerate. Yes, good loving is enough to keep some women’s interest in a worthless man. It may not be right but such is life. Have you ever been a victim of this? Be honest. I am lucky enough to have finally found the perfect combination at this point in my life.
It is up for debate. Should sex play a role when choosing a partner? Or should it be the least of your concerns? What say you?

Update: Alicia herself took to Twitter to say this image is not the cover of her album. Sorry.
Wow. Check out Alicia Keys‘ cover art for her “Element of Freedom” CD. Alicia gets a big thumbs up from me. I totally love it. This is by far her most interesting cover and she looks amazing.

Rihanna got all emotional last night as she accepted Glamour Magazine’s “The Back On The Top Superstar” award at their annual “Women of the Year” gala. The singer reportedly teared up as she thanked friends, family and fans for standing by her during what she called “the most horrible ordeal of her life.” Rihanna appears to be fully embracing her role as spokesperson for abused women- even though she is taking flack in the media for chosing not to speak up until promotion for her new album kicked in.

Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles attended a press conference in Athens, Greece yesterday. The pair were reportedly promoting their Dereon clothing line, which isn’t yet available in the country. Miss Tina looks awesome to be 55 and Beyonce took a year or two off of her age as well by switching out her old wet & wavy wig for the new one she is wearing below. Sista looks good with the bangs. This is a look she should definitely keep. It totally works for her.

Crunk n’ B chica for life, Ciara, isn’t letting the modest showing of her latest CD stop her from making moves in other areas. Despite poor sales of the singer’s “Fantasy Ride” album, Ciara is still very much an artist in demand. Verizon has tapped the dance diva to be the pitch woman for their new mobile device, the LG Chocolate Touch- and just recently debuted the ad campaign and commercial for the gadget.
Magazine and clothing companies are also knocking down the singer’s door. Ciara will be repping the Express fashion label and recently did a photo shoot with photographers Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold that will appear in an upcoming edition of German Vogue.

Though “Walt Disney’s A Christmas Carol” was the clear winner at the box office over the weekend- taking in just over 31 million dollars- it was the gritty urban drama “Precious” that ended up setting a record. The film grossed an astonishing 1.8 million dollars with only 18 runs in the United States. That number averages out to just about $100,000 per screen, a record for a film being shown in under 50 theaters. Starring Gabourney Sidibe, Mo’nique, Paula Patton and Mariah Carey, the film has been a fan and critic favorite at film festivals all over the country and is already being touted as an Oscar favorite.
Sapphire, the author of the book “Push” which “Precious” is based on, opened up to Entertainment Weekly recently about all the hoopla surrounding the film and disclosed that both Brandy and Madonna were once names being thrown around to help bring her novel to life. The writer says she declined Madonna’s offer to produce the film because she didn’t think the “Material Girl” was the right fit, as well as an offer from another producer because he wanted to cast Brandy in the lead role- something Sapphire said almost made her hang up the phone on him.
