Estelle is moving forward with another studio project. She already had a new song called “Freak” ready to roll out and recently filmed a music video for it. To match the theme of the song, the video is filled with people, including Estelle, acting freaky. “It’s a very sexual song. I wanted to kinda take it away from being about sex and more about bringing out your inner freak,” she dished on the concept. “It’s kinda a metaphor for how you control your life, so you have your different personalities. You bring them out when you need to.” The video is directed by Nabil Elderkin, the same man who made Kanye West’s haunting video for his single “Coldest Winter”. It is planned to be premiered this coming Friday, February 26 at 4 P.M. EST on Estelle’s official website. “Freak” is produced by acclaimed DJ/producer David Guetta and is confirmed to be included in Estelle’s upcoming studio effort “All of Me”. The song is promised to be made available for purchase sometime soon, while the album is yet to have any release date.
Singer Beyonce has been voted the celebrity with the best body by British women. The curvy star came top of the new poll by landing 24 per cent of the vote, but men believe that Transformers star Megan Fox has the best body and said she is the woman they would sleep with if allowed to by their partner. The poll was carried out by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. It also found that British model Katie Price is becoming less popular as a third of men and women voted her the least attractive celebrity. Both sexes also voted that Victoria Beckham has the worst figure out of other celebrities. The poll was carried out to mark the release of Fox’s new movie, Jennifer’s Body, on DVD.

Fear. Fear is a motherf****. It can prevent you from following your hopes and dreams, it can keep you stagnant in your life. It can harness your very soul and bring about bitterness and lack of zest for living. The shit can keep you up at night. I am a woman who wants great things for my life and my family. I FEAR that those things may never come to be. I am going to share some of the things that I fear. (more…)
All winter long, (true story) I’ve been wearing dark colors. Whether black, gray, dark plum, navy, I’m in it. It’s almost March and I can’t wait to revamp my wardrobe for Spring. To help you choose the right pieces and colors for your’s, here are the biggest color trends of the upcoming season…

Already expected for the Spring season are bold and bright colors. Marc by Marc Jacobs’ Spring 2010 runway showed great ways to try out this trend; mix ’n match brights, brights and neutrals, etc.

Nudes and neutral colors are HUGE this Spring. You can pair them together like Donna Karan, Stella McCartney, and Blumarine did for their S/S ‘10 runway looks, or use them as accents.
*Tip: Nude pumps are current faves of many celeb fashionistas, especially the more petite ones as they create the illusion of longer legs! [Of course this is when worn with a dress, skirt, or shorts.]

Adding pops of color to your wardrobe/look has to be my favorite trend of Spring. I like to keep the excitement to a minimum, yet still be on-trend. Black and white are [honestly] my two most favorite colors, so to be able to accent them with these lovely bold colors feels like I’m having my cake and eating it too!

Pastels are also a huge color trend for Spring. Fashion houses like Burberry and Dennis Basso had these colors all over their Spring 2010 catwalk. Pastels are such subdued and muted colors that you can wear them to just about anywhere and still remain classy, relaxed, professional. Pair them with black and other dark colors like Charlotte Ronson and Basso & Brooke did for a funkier look.

I got money to blow. Well, actually I don’t, but rapper Drake apparently does. But for most of us, especially during this economic down turn, the money that we do have, we ain’t trying to blow. We are trying to keep our bills paid and hopefully have a little “something, something,” left over each month to put towards our savings.
So, here is 3+1=4 saving tips for those who don’t have money to blow.
1. Keep driving pass the drive thru. Trust me; I know it seems so much easier after a long day at work, when your children need to be fed, to do a drive by at your nearest McDonalds. But if you find yourself spending money eating out almost every night, think about the money you can save if you simply cut back. Limit eating out to just once a week. Fridays are usually good!
2. Just throw it in the bag. Just throw your lunch in a brown bag that is. Leave Chipotles, Friday’s, Chili’s, and Applebee’s alone during lunch hours. If you are spending $10 for lunch X 5 days a week, that’s $50. Hello!! That’s $200 a month. Need I say more?
3. Ask yourself, do I really need another outfit, another pair of shoes? We love to shop. I get it. But if you have invested more money into the clothes and shoes in your closet than in your own opportunity to financial empowerment, then HOUSTON, I THINK WE HAVE A PROBLEM…..
4. Slash the cost of some of your bills. You just may have a million stations with your satellite dish or with your cable plan, but do you really have to have all those channels? Stick to the basics and put the extra cash that you will save in the bank. Shawty what you think? Besides, the only channel you really need is HGTV (Ok, I love the HGTV channel).

Who knew that R&B recording artist Keke Wyatt would come back onto the music scene with a fresh look and a hot new single to go right along with it? Wyatt’s sound is truly welcomed. It’s refreshing and it’s reminiscent of that 90’s R&B music that most of us loved and cherished so much.
It’s seems ages ago since the release of Wyatt’s debut album, “Soul Sista.” With a certified gold album under her belt, it appeared as though Wyatt was well on her way to securing a top spot in the music industry. But after label changes and the failure of her record label to release her sophomore album, “Emotional Rollercoaster,” it appeared as though the opportunity for Wyatt to capitalize on the successful of her debut album was surely fading away.
