Life & Style Magazine has declared Janet Jackson pregnant- again. The magazine has reported in the past that the singer was possibly pregnant and the New York Daily News just recently declared the singer pregnant as well. Gossip bloggers soon started spreading the pregnancy rumor, finally prompting Jermaine Dupri to to tell Us Magazine that Janet was in no way pregnant. As many of you know Janet has been pregnant for about 20 years now (lol) and has yet to give birth. My personal opinion: Janet is 42 years old and so not about to become a mother. No one who wants children waits until they are in their 40s. Plus, Janet has made it well known that she intends to tour overseas. People just need to face the fact that not every woman wants children and that if Janet had wanted them she would have more than likely had them years ago.

Singer Brandy released her Human CD this past Tuesday and according to Hits Daily Double she will easily debut inside the top ten with sales of about 70-80,000. This is the singer’s first album under the Epic label and Brandy’s fifth solo album to date. Like a lot of R n’ B females, Brandy saw her release date pushed back and struggled to garner radio support for both her singles- Right Here (Departed) and Long Distance. Still, Brandy has been hot on the promo trail lately and her CD has garnered solid reviews from both fans and critics alike. The singer appeared on the Tyra Banks Show earlier this week and has a BET special airing tonight- Brandy: Just Human, which takes a behind the scenes look into the making of her new album.

Diana Ross, Tina Turner, Etta James- Beyonce has found a way to attach herself to all of these legends over the past few years. Well now we can add a new name to that list: Barbara Streisand. According to reports, Beyonce has been signed to star in the remake of A Star Is Born- a film made popular by Streisand in the 1970s, Judy Garland in the 1950s and Janet Gaynor in the 1930s. Beyonce is the latest name to be attached to this movie, as Will Smith and Jennifer Lopez were also rumored to be remaking the film back in the early 2000s. If this news turns out to be true- it will be yet another film where Beyonce plays a singer. She is presently being seen in Cadillac Records playing Etta James and has also been confirmed to play Eartha Kitt is her upcoming biography.

You’ve worked hard all year and now your 9-5 wants to play Santa Claus and send you some Holiday Cheer in the form of a Holiday Party. Get Togetha loves office Holiday parties because its a great opportunity to get to know your colleagues better, thank them, do a little brown nosing, and leave a lasting impression. Now would not be the time to act boo boo the fool just because you hear the words “party” and “free cocktails.” Etiquette is real. Cause we’ve all seen the person who plays themselves at the office party and gets talked about. Its called an “office” party for a reason. It’s still business. Here’s some conversation on how to have fun and show good face.
What do I wear?
Business Casual is a term that folks need to have tatooed on the brain. Slacks, white shirts, shoe boots, with a touch of sparkle earrings or bracelet will do nice. Festive colors work but only in touches. Christmas trees should be viewed; not worn.

The 31st Annual Kennedy Center Honors were held last night and Beyonce “Sasha Fierce” Knowles was on hand to pay tribute to singer Barbara Streisand. Speaking to the LATimes earlier this week, Beyonce said about Barbara what she had previously said about both Diana Ross and Tina Turner in the past: “Barbara Streisand, that’s the career model for me, I want to be just like her. She is the just the ultimate. And I want to be an icon too.” As many of you know Barabara Streisand is an accomplished singer, actress and Academy Award Winner. Beyonce has two of those things down pat and is working on the Oscar. She is getting great reviews for her role as Etta James in Cadillac Records, this however didn’t help the movie very much because it debuted at #9 at the box office- due mostly to it only being in limited release.
