Most of them look like a hot mess. MC Lyte looks good and so does Lauren London and Alesha Renee. Everybody else looks like they were dressed for Holloween. Were they dressed for Holloween? Toccarra is a disaster as usual, she needs to act more professional..or bet needs to get rid of her altogether…..having said that i would like to see our black people take a little more pride and do the award thing right, most of you guys dress like it’s a bbq or a halloween costume, i keep hoping that next year will be better. We need to show the rest of the world that we are moving on up too and not jsu stuck in the hood…just saying…the grammys does it right for the most part..mtv does it right for the most part…the golden globes does it right for the most part…can we at least try too..i know that tmz will be taking a jab at theese outfits and make fun of it no doubt, let’s try to shut them up at least..

No disrespect to any one but this is just something to think about. Hip hop originated in the hood; it is a culture,(a life style if you will) I would find it to be a contridiction if people showed up in cavalli gowns and tuxedos. hip hop is what it is and the fashion is a major part of the body of this great phenomenon that people thought would fade away.

Mostar you do have a point, this is the Hip-Hop awards not the Oscars or NAACP. It’s not required that you come in their looking all fancy. Why do some black people try to go out their way to impress whites or the other world as what they would call it? They don’t go out their way to impress us.

The term Hate or Hating is being used too often and usaully it’s taking out of context.
An Opinion is ones view based on an observation, which on the other hand Hating consist of putting down the success, beauty, or fortune of others due to jealously.
Sexyangel if you would read on this site more than you would know we don’t always say anything negative or in your term “hate” on Ms. Cole. We tell the truth (atleast I do) based on what we see. She does look hood on this pic as in most times that’s her style. We didn’t say something wrong with that, it’s just calling it like we see it.
She can Upgrade her style more but hey teach it’s own. It’s nice to know that somebody admires her style so much that they’ll go out their way to call people that they haven’t even seen lames, now how ghetto is that. Birds of a feather :noway:
