Pics: Beyonce On The Set Of Her New Movie

Singer Beyonce Knowles was spotted earlier today on the set of her new movie “Obsessed”. As previously reported, Beyonce plays the role of a loving wife and mother whose life is turned upside when her husband is stalked by an obsessive office temp. The film is still in the early stages of filming and also star actor Idris Elba and Ali Landry, who was a regular on Eve’s short lived television series.

  1. OOOOH! I am loving the red hair! Beyonce and fine Idris together! This is definitely a cute housewife look! Can’t wait!

  2. OK, why does the baby look like he could actually be hers!LOL Too cute! I will definitely pay my $10 bucks to see this. When is it coming out?

  3. beyonce have a fight scene with the girl who’s the stalker

  4. Yikes! Beyonce all set to ruin another movie attempting to act.

  5. Malcolm, I heard that earlier today. That ish is going to be mad funny if it’s true.

  6. Ali Larter, the stalker, talks about the wicked catfight in an interview! I can’t wait to see this!LOL I am loving the red hair! She looks great!

  7. How long have I said she should get some red hair? It looks cute. I don’t know what hotness people see in Idris Elba, but I don’t see it. He just reminds me of someone’s average dad. They couldn’t have found a husband that wasn’t 10 years older than her?

Anyway, I won’t be heading to the theater to see this, but the usual best of luck to her. I hope she pulls it all together acting wise and pulls of a good role. Glad to see they toned it down a little, she does looks like a mommy.

  8. I am looking forward to seeing this! Love the red head too!LOL
Jay close your eyes because I need to see a hot sex scene!LOL

  9. I dunno.
Beyonce is who she is; a mighty talent and I can accept that.
    However.
She is hella flat on the big screen; cause she has no range or depth of emotion.
    Fans.
Please don’t think I hate Beyonce. I don’t; but ole gurl is wick wick wack when it comes to the art of acting.

Click on my name and check out my blog!

  10. I like these pix. The red hair is gorgeous on Beyonce. I love Idris, I’ll just go see the movie for that reason alone. I like Bey, she’s all over the place but I think she was better in Dreamgirls than she was in Carmen. If you’ve watched all her movies you know that she’s come a long way. She’ll probably be a lot better in this flick coz she’s very determined. I’m watching it the first weekend it opens. It’ll be $9 well spent.

  11. Rae, you’re right about Beyonce improving with each film. Now that I think about it, she is getting better slowly but surely. She still has room for improvement. I can’t wait to see the fight scene! LOL.

Side note: Beyonce looks more and more like her mother every day (especially in the face)! They are close to the same size. At this point, they almost look like twins.

  12. Definitelty will be catching this! She looks fab with the hair color too! Idris is one handsome man!

  13. I wait until it go straight to dvd. I will borrow it from someone. She is a great singer and performer that it.

  14. Why does this movie sound like another rip-off of Fatal Attraction that will be going straight to DVD. Hmmmm, she won’t get no Oscar award for this one.

  15. I love the look! Beyonce better work Idris while she got a chance! Love the color on her. It works with her skin color. I’ll definitely be seeing this in Feb.

  16. Another desperate attempt to prove that she is a great actress. LOL. In my opinion, she just doesn’t have it. But I give her kudos for trying.

  17. wow, bee with red hair, now that is different for her. Anyway, I’m excited about the movie. This is a thriller, so I’m really anxious to see how Mrs.Carter carries herself in this film, since her acting has been a lil mediocre in her past films. Hopefully we will see a different side of her acting wise this time around. And yes i heard about the catfight, I just hope it’s better then the one she had in “Carmen”. lol

  18. IDRIS WILL BE THE ONLY THING TO MAKE ME WATCH THIS FILM, UUMMMM CHOCOLATE!!!!

  19. I LIKE HER RED HAIR I READ PART OF THE SCRIPT AND THIS IS MORE OF A HUSBAND AND WIFE BATTLE DAN WIFE AND STALKER IDRIS AND BEY HAVE SOME FIGHTING SCENES JUST TO LET U KNOW BEYONCE HAS A MEAN RIGHT HOOK FOR IDRIS

  20. BEYONCE IS A GOOD ACTRESS SHE AINT DA BEST LIKE ANGELA BASSET AND CISLEY TYSON OR NIA LONG, JADA PICKET AND SANAA LATHEN BUT SHE IS INPROVING YALL JUST HATE HER ACTING CAUSE YALL DONT LIKE HER GOD SHUT UP AND READ A GOOD BOOK, IM A SINGLE WHITE MOTHER WHO IS NOT RAISIST BUT IM GOING TO SAY IT WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE BEING SO IGGNORENT PLEASE, NOT JUST YOU BUT THE WHOLE WORLD, LET HER MAKE HER MONEY AND BE A SUSSEFUL BLACK WOMAN NO A SUSSEFUL WOMAN GOD I TEACH AT A ALL BLACK SCHOOL AND DEY READ THESE BLOGS AND U PUT SO MUCH HATE IN YALL WORDS

  21. Mama Tina!!! πŸ˜† She looks so much like her! @ Teeda, that’s the first thing I saw when I looked at the pictures. LOL.

Anyway, I’m just not too keen on this film. The storyline’s been done before; repeatedly; most often than not on the Lifetime channel, but kudos to her for going the suspense/drama route. Hope it works out. I do look forward to her bit in Cadillac Records.

    πŸ™‚

  22. @Bethany said, learn how to spell before you chastise someone. No one is being rude nor ignorant because this is not that type of blog. This young lady can’t act and it is okay too say that. She can’t act. They keep giving her prime rolls that could go to real actresses. She has played the same role in every movie. No one is taking away from her talent, but, no one can do everything and she can’t act. She is good at what she does and that is singing mediocre songs and dancing her but off.

  23. Beyonce is not the best actress, even she knows that. But, regardless of what anyone thinks, she is going to take whatever movie offers she can get just to build her resume and to prove to herself that she can do it.

  24. I really have tried to like Beyonce’s acting, but I am over it already. She falls flat every time. I can’t wait to see her on the BET awards.

  25. Beyonce is a good performer, but she is just not a good actress. Yes, we know that there are so many other trained and professional African American actresses that should get the movie roles that she is getting, but, movie directors come to her because she is marketable and has a built in fan base that can help sell their movie.

I also agree with another poster that said at this point, Beyonce is probably taking on as many movie roles that are being offered to her just to prove to herself that she can do it regardless of the negative comments made by movie critics, media and the public.

  26. ITS funny how critics like her acting and people still hate. Critics liked her in dreamgirls.I think she can act. go Bee GET EM!!!!

  27. WHAT CANT YALL JUST BE HAPPY DAT BLACK WOMEN ARE EVEN GETTING ACTING ROLES
GOD I JUST READ A ARTICLE AND AFRICAN AMERICAN WEMON ARE NOT BEING GIVEN A CHANCE IN HOLLYWOOD. I RECORDED TYRA SHOW AND THE YOUNG LADY IN HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL IS ALMOST 28 PLAYING A TEENAGER AND SHE IS AFRICAN AMERICAN
ALL OF YOU PEOPLE ARE SO STUCK ON HER DAT U DONT REALIZE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD SHE IS A GOOD ACTRESS AND SHE WAS GOOD IN DREAMGIRLS AND IVE HEARD SHE IS GOOD IN CD SO READ A BOOK AND THANK GOD A BLACK WOMAN IS MAKING MOVIES

  28. ^^^My thoughts on Beyonce in Dreamgirls:

-the scene by the pool with John Lithgow and John Krazinski (sp?)….that was some of the most torturous acting inside the whole film; the WORST delivery and unbelieveable…

-the scene inside at dinner with Curtis, when he basically cursed her out because of her ‘almost-betrayal’ by signing on….that was one of the BEST scenes with Ms. Knowles in the film…

I’m sure the critics would agree with me on the latter. πŸ˜‰

  29. kenyade okay let me tell u something in the ny times, the critic said beyonce was good and she improved from her earlier movies so take yo haterism and shove it and beyonce’s character was supposed to be scared and timid and shy so god leave her alone
BEYONCE YOU ARE A WONDERFUL WOMAN AND I LOVE UR WORK, KEEP UM COMING AND YALL HATERZ GET A LIFE

  30. @ BETHANY- your comment about “All of YOU PEOPLE” was offensive to me. You generalized all black people, and it worries me that you are a teacher based on your previous comments. I understand part of what you’re saying. However, you don’t really understand the logic behind some of the comments. Should black people be happy just to get scraps off the dinner table? By that I mean, it is offensive when you think it’s OK for US to accept mediocre roles. More importantly, we will not send praises for a job that’s NOT WELL DONE.

I personally think that Beyonce is great. She will go down in history without a doubt, but everone is entitled to have their own opinion about her performance. Quite frankly, she does need to grow as an actress, and I’m very confident that she will develope into a great one becuase that’s her nature. I just don’t want you going around thinking that all black people make a point to tear successful black people down. It does happen sometimes unfortunately, but don’t generalize us. As an educator, you should know better than that. If I wanted to be mean I would say that white people try to tear down their celebraties faster than any other race. Look at Brittany Spears, Lindsey Lohan and Amy Winehouse. I already feel bad for using that as an example. So, I’ll be quiet now.

  31. TEEDA U ARE RIGHT, AND IF I OFFENDED YOU OR ANYONE ELSE I APPOLIGIZE FOR MY WORDS I SHOULD HAVE NOT WROTE IT OR WROTE ANYTHING ABOUT RACE BUT INDEED I APOLOGIZE TO ALL OF U
U ARE RIGHT IT IS NOT RACE PEOPLE TEAR DOWN PEOPLE AND I HAVE TO UNDERSTAND IT BUT I DID READ ABOUT AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMAN ARE NOT GETTING ROLES AND DAT U SHOULD. NAY WE SHOULD APPRECIATE THAT AND AMY WINEOUSE IS A DISCRACE TO WEMON PERIOD
SO I AN SORRY AND AS A EDUCATOR I FELL SLIGHTLY ASHAMED FOR WHAT I HAVE SAID I WROTE IT IN THE WRONG WAY

  32. “This young lady can’t act and it is okay too say that…She is good at what she does and that is singing mediocre songs and dancing her but off” Bria. You make laugh…pure comedy… seriously.
You’re not a Beyonce fan. I get it lol. Beyonce should KEEP on doing what she’s doing because she loves it, she has the opportunity, and she’s learning & improving. You don’t like her acting? FINE, don’t support it/IGNORE IT. Others like her acting, and they WILL continue to support it.
NO ONE is taking away from her talent because they CANNOT. It speaks for itself. I love me some Beyonce. She took it to another level in ‘The Beyonce Experience’. I’m eager to see what she’ll do next, for her career moves are on POINT.

  33. It really doesn’t matter is she can act or not, the point is, she is one of the hottest and most successful women in the business at the moment. She will continue to get movie roles until her star begins to fade.

  34. Can’t wait to see the movie! The verdict is still out on Bey’s acting skills, but I still can’t wait to see whatever she does. Bey can just get on the screen and mouth the words… good enough for me!

She was just fine in Dreamgirls to me. I’ve seen much worse.

    Stan

  35. Good head Ms. Beyonce! Looking fab with the red hair. I am so looking forward to seeing her and Idris on the big screen. I see her doing more and more movies and less recording as she enjoys her life as Mrs. Carter. Can’t wait!

  36. I can’t wait to see the fight scene with Beyonce and the stalker! Glad to see Beyonce taking on a different role. Heard she did the role of Ella justice! Keep it up!

  37. YEA I HAVE A FRIEND WHO WORKS A RECEPTIONIST FOR OPRAH’S PRODUCER AND SHE SAID DAT SHE SEEN BEYONCE SHOOT AND PART OF THE FILM WERE SHE WAS HIGH AND WAS ALL SWEATED OUT AND SHE WAS SUPRISED DAT BEYONCE PULLED IT OFF
I DEFINELY WILL SEE BEYONCE IN CADELLIC RECORDS

  38. I love me some Bee but I never cared for her acting. I hope she does the Dayam thing in this one!

  39. Not even a a fine superstar like Beyonce can save this movie. Straight to DVD. Next.

  40. I hope Beyonce proves everyone wrong with her acting skills on this movie, because i already know she is on the other movie she is doing , where she is playing etta james, because cedric the entertainer who is also in the movie said on the radio that this is the best role she could ever play and her acting skills is so up to par on this one. so i can’t wait until both of her movies come out.

  41. People will fall over themselves with Beyonce playing a done-before role, but could plain care less when dedicated actresses like Taraji work themselves to A-list status and roles. It’s a little odd to say the least.

    /Beginrant

I don’t get why every Beyonce post turns into a hater/stan/”people who are neither but can’t avoid the e-drama” arena. No one is everyone’s cup of tea, so no one should get pissy if someone feels differently or don’t see the same talent/beauty/potential that they see. If you’re a huge and dedicated fan of someone, and your heart just about blows out of your chest when someone disagrees with you or bad talks your fave, it might be best to stick to a fan site. It can’t be worth the heart attack. There’ll be 100 posts, and 70 of them will be arguing over opinions.

    /EndRant

  42. @ BETHANY,

    You’re amazing! πŸ˜†

Ever heard of respecting other folks opinions!?

That was my opinion of her in Dreamgirls! You call me a ‘hater’??? Did you just not see me COMPLIMENT the fabulous Beyonce? πŸ˜† Geezus! Take the blinders off sista and learn to recognize and respect others opinions, EVEN IF it is contrary to your own!

I will say that I agree with ‘the critics’. She has gotten ‘better’ the further she’s gone along.

    The End.

@Brownsista, remind to never state my opinion in a Beyonce post again! πŸ˜† Sheesh!

  43. Any excuse to see Idris, is fine with me. It would be nice if he kept his British accent in the film. I love it.

As far as Beyonce, we will have to see. I agree that her acting skills have improved since Carmen. That was a disaster. But she is improving and you can’t knock a sista for that. Plus she is creating opportunities for herself, can’t knock the hustle.

  44. ^^ I agree! Any excuse to see Idris! Loves me some him!

  45. I don’t think people are offering her that many roles b/c of her acting, they want the audience that she brings with her. And there is nothing wrong with that. Look at The Color Purple with Fantasia – it was all a ploy to get people to come to broadway and I really liked her on Broadway, but that Lifetime movie was a hot sticky mess. And this movie is being produced by Beyonce so I am sure no one had to ask her to star in it.

  46. ^^ Just executively produce (office job so to speak). The producer does the work.

  47. I do agree that Bey has the “bambi caught in headlights” look down. If she would bring Sasha to the movie screen, she might have it

  48. This is the prime reason why people DON’T like Beyonce. For one, her dear-hearted fans always feel the need to breakdown or explain just how important this woman’s existence is to this world by how she constantly climbs the ladders of success. You would think by now that with her being an international ICON as the “media” claims, every person, household, woman/man/child, would be aware of this. She is an inspiration to many, me included, but why does it have to be a matter of debate as to how successful this woman is?

I agree that she is very talented and good at what she brings to the table, but that’s as far as it goes. But some of you go as far as trying to predict her future as if she WILL ALWAYS be the best at this and that, or at the very least, that she will always be around PERIOD. Nobody in this world is garanteed tomorrow, so why give her that much praise and credit. I think she has done well with her career; upheld a positive image in the public eye and probably is a nice person as so many people want to claim, but sh*t…give it a break with all this extra topping on the cake! I’d like to enjoy whatever is left of her career, but I’m not about to put her or anybody else on a pedestal as if they are the first and shall be the last to do anything.

BTW, I hope all of the cast give their best and do a great job.(particularly Beyonce cause she need it…lol…real talk!!!)

  49. @Bethany
I think you are on some bullsh*t coming up in here trying to check us African American sistas on how we should embrace or relate to one another. Who the hell are you, first of all, to even think you are in the position to do so? Because you’re White? Baby please.

I’m not racist, but I’m not stupid or naive either. If you think that you are earning some brownie points by identifying yourself as a single white mother and educator (whatever) who thought she picked up the dialect that us colored sistahs share and using it against us as we don’t know any better, you are far gone. You may teach an all black class, but we are living in a predominately white world. So alot of critism thats fired at these celebs stems from your kind (or shall I say “people”, too).

I’m glad that Teeda put you in your place when referencing how B. Spears, L. Lohan, etc. as the “white” targets for negative criticism and disapproval because then you’ll think twice about taking your own advice before dishin’ it out.

  50. Kanyade is so right. The pool scene was just horrible. She kept rolling her eyes and shaking her head and I think she was saying something like Curtis won’t mind lol. It took a lot of effort on my part to watch that scene. The highlight of her performance in dreamgirls was in my opinion the part with the wigs

  51. Nesh Nesh sweetie, is it really that deep. Back away from the Beyonce threads! Just back away!

  52. I am absolutely excited about Beyonce in that role because she is playing a character that does not involve singing or entertainment. I really believes that she is going to go down in entertainment history as one of the great black women who set a level of excellence few could follow. I believe she will be like Dorothy Dandridge to future generations who will admire her and want to make a movie about her life and show some of the struggles that she has been and is going through that cannot be disclosed at this time. And considering the fact that black women and black people period have had such a hard time in hollywood and entertainment period, we should be pleased and excited that any black person has reached the level she has. I believe one day she will win that Oscar that she desires so much as she keeps acting and getting practice in different roles.

  53. Please, Bethany could not possibly be a teacher with the numerous typos, sentence fragments, and incohesive thoughts.

On topic, I do think Beyonce has improved in each film. I used to say her voice (even in interviews) was somewhat grating because the tone was so flat. However, I don’t think I would spend money on a film in which she is starring. I will wait until the movie comes on cable.

  54. @Marsh
Don’t tell me what to do! If you don’t like what I said, then “back away from my comments”.

  55. It is not called hating when you don’t like what someone does it is called your opionion. Why are people so obsessed about this lady. People say negative things about other artisist on this blog and others as well and no one gets called a hater. And when people say nice things about other entertainers they don’t get called a stan. This is getting to the point where it is starting too get scary. I am probably the biggest Whitney Houston fan in the world but I don’t get mad and go to insulting people when they say something about her that I don’t like. And, believe, me in recent years alot has been said about her. People has said she’s lost it she can’t sing anymore and you don’t hear people calling them haters or the people that say positive things about her calling them stans. This is really borderlining on an obsession with some of these people. This chick is alright. There is nothing spectacular about her in my mind. Now if you feel different that is okay, but, you don’t have to attack someone for have different thoughts on the subject than you do.

She may be the nicest person in the world or she may be a jerk who cares. The reality of it is I think she is overrated, but, who am I but a peson on blog commenting on a person who could careless. And that is okay because she could probably careless about the people who are ready to attack. It’s enough already. You cannot like the talents of this woman and still be a normal human being.

  56. Bria, B is not the ONLY artist who has Haters & Stans lol. I like a variety of artists, B included. Majority has them. Unlike you, B is SPECTACULAR to me [Physically & talent wise]. when meanspirited people waste their time & energy on somebody they dislike so much, I don’t get upset [anymore lol], for they look foolish. Now…I mostly laugh & move on. I’m taking Katt williams’ advise, “haters are NEEDED, so let them do their JOB. If you got 20 figure out a way to increase that # lol”. I bet B isn’t complaining.

  57. Just saw some new pics of a kissing scene with Idris! I can’t wait to see this pick! Bring it Bee and Idris! I am so ready!LOL

  58. “I believe she will be like Dorothy Dandridge to future generations who will admire her and want to make a movie about her life and show some of the struggles that she has been and is going through that cannot be disclosed at this time.”

Praise the lord my mother raised a lady because i have so many words to answer to this comment
    ignorance is a blisss

  59. β€œI believe she will be like Dorothy Dandridge to future generations who will admire her and want to make a movie about her life and show some of the struggles that she has been and is going through that cannot be disclosed at this time.”

Are you kidding me? What kind of struggles has Beyonce had? She grew up rich and spoiled.

If you haven’t noticed, Hollywood likes celebrity rags to riches stories; celebrities that have come from poverty stricken lives to become the most successful legends in the business. Beyonce has never and never will have the struggles that Dorothy Dandridge had.

  60. February can’t get her soon enough! I will be waiting and watching!LOL

  61. I have been a beyonce hater eva since destinys child broke up in 2000. i can remeber when i woke up and on da radio it said dat beyonce kicked latoya and lativia out the group. i was heart broken and i neva bought a destinys child album or beyonce, kelly and michelles albums. i only seen dreamgirls and i put dis front on dat i hated her, but actually i loved her in dreamgirls. she was so overshawdowed by jenn and all the other great actors. i have to amit i love beyonce so much and i was 12 years old when dey broke up. i have actually met bey on my 18th birthday and she was so nice and humble and i sat two tables away from her and the way she carried herself with jay and kelly was wonderful. and my mother actually knows michelle and she talked to her and michelle stated dat she was so proud of her sista cause she said beyonce was magnifiecent and she was suprised and i did not believe her. so Mos def was in da Caberle bar and grill and he said dat beyonce was da best and she gave a oscar worthy performance.

so i will have to see and have u seen those crying and emotinal seen she did on beyonceworld.net
and she look like a real actress
get em bey, i love u

im not ur biggest fan but im ur fan

cant wait to new album come out
    u gonna kill rihanna

  62. I aint no goddamn beyonce fan, cant stand da bitch to be honest
she get on my damn nerves
but im looking foward to her new album
her movies valley of the dolls “the relapse”, obsessed, cadellic records
get em bey even though i hate yo stupid, ugly, no class, texas trailer trash and i heard jayz wit sone english woman so bey turn into a lesbian

  63. B did not grow up poor. However, as a superstar, she definately has a story to tell. Hollywood loves a good ole struggle story, and there is one to be found. C’mon, a group of KIDS who dared dream big & succeed even when doors were shut in their faces. Also, do you not follow the Destiny’s Child drama? [that sh** will never end]. I wish all the ex-members the best. I doubt B is spoiled. She’s wasn’t born poor, but she also wasn’t born that rich. NO ONE can denied she doesn’t work hard for her bread lol… not to mention she gives back to her community.

  64. Beyonce does look like her mother. I think after she has her first we won’t be able to tell them apart. I like drama movies so I will go support. It also dosen’t hurt that Idris Elba is in the movie.

  65. @HATERS and others like you, maybe, you should get off this web site and find hooked on phonics. Some of you all have some really bad spelling skills. You also don’t know how to use a comma nor a period. I think that some of you are little too obsessed with this woman and I totally understand why she has security with her everywhere she goes. Because some of you people on all of these blogs really scare me. I am over and out with these blogs. I think some of you people need to go outside and get some aire. To disrespect others over a woman who would not even give you the time of day if she saw you is a little sad. And, Iknow, all of you are not teenagers. Some of you are grown women probably in your forties. That is the saddest part of all.

  66. I don’t know what yall see in that red hair. She looks terrible to me. The movie sounds like it might be corny and with the price of tickets, I think I’ll wait til it comes out on DVD

  67. Um Snijanafleur, if you have ever heard Beyonce do interviews, she said herself that she does not know what it is like to be poor because she grew up in big house, nice neighborhood, lots of cars and a maid. She said she doesn’t even know how to cook. This is the reason she is not a good actress. She has not experienced the daily struggles that most normal people have been through. Whenever someone attacks her in the media, her parents are quick to defend her. So yes, she is spoiled which is probably why she thought she was good enough to win an “Oscar” award. And the little drama that surrounded Destiny’s Child has been portrayed in plenty Lifetime movies. There is nothing interesting about her personal life to be made into a movie.

  68. Isn’t it funny how people are treating her like she is a legend who has dominated the industry for 25 years.

  69. These Beyonce post are getting freakish on whether or not she can act or is the best in the business. At the end of the day, we all breathe the same air people. It is not that serious to keep having the same stupid arguments over this girl.

  70. Um Nikki…I had to do that LOL

Struggles are STRUGGLES. Do you not agree that Girls Time & Destiny’s Child have struggled as a group? Great plots come from great struggles, and Destiny’s Child [In which B is the Lead singer] have had them. They are a success story [Though I’m still waiting for Latavia & Farrah’s independent success]. The drama may have been portayed before in different ways, then again, so love stories, wars… We never seen to get tired of them. Everyone has a life story to tell & it’s from a different perspective.
B didn’t grow up poor, but her family [combine] didn’t have the kind of money they have now pre-Destiny’s Child.

“She said she doesn’t even know how to cook. This is the reason she is not a good actress” Nikki. Okay, I don’t see how not knowing how to cook lead to why she ‘can’t act’ as you put it. Some poor people don’t know how to cook well, too. I’m far from rich . I was born in a country label ‘the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere’. I’ve spent some days without food. I still don’t know what it’s like to be poor, for I’ve always had a roof over my head & my family around me. Of course, I’ve seen poor people & interact with some, but I’ve yet to experience it [sleeping in the street on a piece of cardboard, begging strangers for money& food…].
I refuse to believe a person who’s been working since pre-teen is spoiled. I define spoiled as a person who has had everything handed out to them without lifting a finger.

  71. @ SnijanaFleur,

I love your avatar. πŸ™‚ Rather, I love the afro.

  72. Kanyade thanks, but I wont take too much credit for it. It’s not mine! LOL
    It’s Beyonce’s, and I love it.

  73. I didn’t say that not knowing how to cook was the reason she could not act. I said the reason she probably can’t act is because growing up the way she did, she never had many struggles. She was spoiled.

For example, I saw Fantasia in the “The Color Purple” on Broadway. Her acting skills were not the best, but she was able to get into character because she could relate to Ms. Celie. Just like the character, people called her ugly, said she wasn’t going to be anything, she was abused and raped. She became so emotional during some of those scenes. Her tears were real and you felt it in the songs that she sang. Just like with J-Hud in “Dreamgirls.” She was probably cast aside herself because at one time, Jennifer Hudson was a size 24. So of course, she could relate to Effie and it showed on screen.

That is the point that I am trying to make. Her acting seems forced. She always has that deer in the headlights look. It just doesn’t come or seem natural.

  74. @Hater. When did Quincy say anything regarding the new album? This is news to me.

  75. at the usher realease party, somebody had a vid of it and they asked him the albums he looking foward too and he said beyonce, whitney houston, and ne-yo’s album

  76. Can’t wait to see this ! Love the red hair and love me some Idris!

  77. Give it a rest people. Give it a rest. Whether we like her acting or not, she is still getting paid millions. Why all of the arguments. Geez.

  78. Wow!!! b is doing her thang, shes got a third album coming out in 09, two new movies, and maybe a spot on desperate housewives, shes going to give me heartattack lol, but neways i hope she does amazing in the movies, i dont think shes doing it to please anyone but herself u kno like maybe tryin to prove to herself shes more than just a great singer or pretty face, but only one thing that makes me mad about beyonce … WHERE WAS SHE AT THE BET AWARDS … i was sitting their glued to the screen waiting and she neva came i was so disapointed : ( but i guess shes working hard doin her thang luv to my gurl.

  79. The album is actually set for a Nov. release, but that could change.
