Keyshia Cole Vibe Photo Shoot
As many of you already know Keyshia Cole is Vibe Magazine’s December 2007 covergirl. Keyshia set tongues a wagging and officially elevated herself to sex symbol status when she posed topless for the cover. Vibe promised more breathtaking photos of Keyshia inside the magazine and I think they delivered on that promise. Keyshia’s inside pictorial features her totally dressed, but no less stunning. I compared these photos to those she took for Vibe back in 2006 and truly there is no comparing the two. Keyshia seemed quite uncomfortable with the sex symbol label back then but without a doubt seems to embrace it more as she says “she is comfortable in her own skin now”. I’m a Keyshia fan but I don’t see anything special about the pictures. And the topless cover picture…she looked far from being “comfortable”. It was more like she did it because somebody talked her into it. I, too, dont think she is ugly but I don’t consider her a sex symbol either. Nor do I feel taking your clothes off make you sexy. I think you can be sexy in jeans and a t-shirt. I will say although I’m not feeling the cover she was able to do nude w/o looking trashy and revealing her goods, unlike others I will not name.

Ummm…I’m going to have to agree with “Ally” on this one. Keyshia Cole is a pretty, made up girl (for you slow people: pretty with make up). Do you remember what Keyshia Cole looked like when she came out with her first single “I don’t love you” featuring Kanye West? Yeah she looked like she was ran over, and then hit by a reverse, right?
Well, sorry, but that hasn’t changed (unless she had surgery). She just upgraded from the last album, because of how well she has been doing since then. Which means more designer clothes, more designer makeup, spas, etc…you know the things that the “other” class of American women can’t do on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. I am very proud of her because at first she looked “Hood-Ghetto”, now she has the “Sassy-Ghetto” look. It looks good on her.
But the sexy, beautiful comments I seen above…come on, you don’t think you are over-exaggerating a lil bit? They were pretty photos, but gee-whiz. Thank God for make-up and technology, huh?
With the entertainment industry only 10% of what you hear & see is the truth. Which means the other half of Keyshia is hiding behind aaall the make up and the computer adjustments.

Keyshia looks pretty in her pictures but it is alot of smoke and mirrors. I am a fan, truly, but all of the hype isn’t warranted. Plus, she stood my city up on the Double Up tour and we are all still irritated by that.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to find your blog and to finally see someone saying something nice about Keyshia. This woman has worked so hard to come up from nothing and yet all many can do is talk bad about her or accentuate her faults. The woman is growing and learning and along the ways he is going to make some mistakes. Keyshia looks beautiful and her growth musically, spiritually and sexually is a good thing. keyshia cole looks beautiful, she has pretty even toned skin and has pretty eyes. for the person that said she’s average ,and that she is no gabrielle union, sanaa lathan, etc. well, i seen those people without makeup, and with regular clothing on…………….and yes they look like regular average chicks also, so what are you saying. if you have a cute face and a nice , body , throw some celebrity clothes on, make-up, and a great hairdo, and …..yeah you can look hot. the only people i can really say that look above average, this means without make-up, weave and all, and the chicks i see when i go overseas, like BRAZIL, MOROCCO and many others countries. they have beautiful long hair, pretty skin light eyes etc. with regular clothing on HALLE BERRY, BEYONCE, MEGAN GOOD, GABRIELLE UNIONS, ETC. ETC. ALL LOOK LIKE AVERAGE CHICKS WITHOUT THE MAKE-UP , WEAVE AND FANCY CLOTHING………..SMH(SHAKING MY HEAD)
