Letoya Luckett may have just found her niche. The singer, whose new music doesn’t seem to be garnering the public’s attention anymore, is branching out into acting. The trailer for Letoya’s new movie, Preacher’s Kid, was recently released and Letoya seems to handle herself quite capably in front of the camera. Acting is all about believability and Toya seems to definitely have that down pat. Look for PK to hit movie theater screens across the country on October 30th.

Neither of Letoya’s first two songs have made a dent on the charts and her album keeps getting pushed back.
Again, her new music is not resonating with fans.
Her music resonates just fine to me. This movie feels fighting temptations like to me …. but it still feels interesting enough to me that I might see it.
I liked her first single, but it was weak, and the second was weaker. These people need to stop working with the same people. Just because they can make one person a hit doesnt mean they can make you one. Can’t wait for the movie though, is it a straght to DVD? I have never seen her act, but she doesn’t look like she can.
I just heard the snippets of several songs on the album at letoyanews.com and they sound wonderful. She has definetely stepped up her game lyricaly and vocally. This is the first album in a long time that I have been excited to get. The release date is August 25th and no push backs. I always supported her but she got some true R&B on this ablum and I like many others have been craving that in music for some time. I know that her first two singles have not blown up the charts but they have been respectable and people shouldn’t sleep on this album, go pick it up. Just because you may not be number one on billboard doesn’t mean your album is no good we all can name several people who have albums that are not making the noise they should like Chrisette Michelle, her album is good. From what I heard she has something for everyone on this album and the amazon.com review was positive.

Letoya is doing just fine to me. Yes Letoya could have commercial success but that’s okay, I’m just going to enjoy her while the moment is good!
