Meagan Good’s New NBC Drama

Meagan Good’s mid-season replacement drama ‘Deception’ is finally set to make its debut on January 7, 2013. After undergoing several name changes, the show finally got the green light from NBC and will be called up to the plate to hold things down while ‘The Voice’ is on hiatus.

As we previously reported, Meagan will star as Joanna Locasto, a detective who returns to the home of the wealthy family she grew up with to investigate the murder of a childhood friend.

Meagan will be joined by her ‘Stomp the Yard’ co-star Laz Alonzo and veteran actor Victor Garber (Titanic).

NBC has released the official trailer for ‘Deception,’ which you can check out below.

  1. I’m pretty excited for this show as well, and I’m sure Meagan and Laz won’t disappoint either. Some of the girls I work with at DISH and I were just talking about this show earlier, and we agreed that based off the trailer is has a “Revenge” type of feel to it. Does anyone else feel that way? Either way I’ll still be checking out what the show has to offer, so I’ll keep an eye out for that premiere date. From the looks of it though it’ll be a show in NBC’s primetime lineup, and will automatically record with my DISH Hopper’s PrimeTime Anytime feature (records all of the major networks primetime shows each night automatically). That’s good news for me because I do have a horrible memory, so I won’t have to worry about setting up an individual recording timer for it. 🙂
