Janet Jackson’s ABC Special will air this week on November 18th and speculation is the singer’s video for her new single “Make Me” will debut shortly afterwards. ABC pretty much solidified that idea when they posted behind the scenes footage of the video on their website earlier today.

^^Looks like THAT Janet is back. I love it. Awww this is my era!! What am I gonna do when all of the artists from my era fade away. We already lost mike whom I absolutely adored and yes…STILL cry over. I’m glad to see her, this is the music I like and miss so much, happy, dance fun.
The costume made me think about 2 things

“Full of class?” Clearly you’re talking about 1986-1993 dance/socially conscious Janet and haven’t been introduced to the nympho Janet of 1997-present. But perhaps the 80s/early 90s Janet is coming back? I hope so, as I got so tired of her singing about sex all the damn time.
Janet will always be Janet! Vh1 played all of videos over a weekend, it was incredible how much she has given the world, her talent is just bar none!
I would love to own all of her videos and concerts in a box set with her narrating what was going on through the work! Even the old bit of her and michael doing Sonny and Cher on youtube…hilarious!

I love a dressed Janet!!!! Don’t get me wrong when the Jant era hit in ‘93 I lived for the six-pack as well. This is the Janet though that knows she’s talented and doesn’t need the ta-tas anymore to make and sell her music. This is the trendsetter Janet, the one who broke records at will, the one who helped pioneer this brand of entertaining. Great Job Janet and her team!!!

I love me some Janet. lol. She is so all that. Although, I like her minus JD, when she was with Matthew McConaughey they were the sexiest couple ever in Hollywood. Too bad they didn’t work out.
As far as Janet being too sexual, well one must understand that she had been a tomboy all her life, so of course she was going to go all out.
As far as MJ, I can totally relate to the poster that admits to still being upset over his death. It is so sad to think of MJ in the past tense.
I know that Janet is hurting, they had a beautiful bond, that was so obvious whenever they performed or just near each other. I loved the Brett Ratner interview where he talks about how when Chris Tucker and him would spend the nights at Neverland, they would have dance contests, and Chris Tucker would dance to MJ of course, and MJ would dance to Janet. That is so sweet.
One can see the Scream video and tell just how insync MJ and Janet really were.
Reading Janet interviews she’s seem angry. I know she said that it was a job to Janet and MJ. This poor woman, she lost her big brother , and I’m pretty sure she will never get over his death.
@BOWHE- That’s the very sad part that she will never get over his death but truthfully speaking who will??? That man was truly unforgettable in the best way possible. Sometimes I go on youtube at 3 in the morning and watch his past performances for hours when I have to wake up at 8 he just HAS that impact.
