    Lool i swear …

  4. i love bee but i have a hard time putting her and church in the same sentence. not trying to be judgemental because everybody needs spirituality and seeks God in their own way, but damn her lifestyle is just kinda iffy, from shacking up with jay to getting drunk in public too many times to dressing up like a stripper and singing about orgasms. she’s good entertainment, very talented, and i feed her demand because i love her music but i dunno about this church stuff! maybe if she did it without the church. i’m preparing to be attacked for this, but don’t y’all pretend that you don’t feel the same! i have a hard time taking michelle seriously too, or anybody in the entertainment industry! but it’s our fault, we demand it and they provide it!

i don’t think it was a fight between mel b and her bf, stop causing drama!

    vivica looks ok

i’m covinced that kelly rowland and gabrielle union are two of the most gorgeous black women in the universe!

  5. As ususaly Gabby is BEAUTIFUL! Love her!

Bee look Great but I don’t like those high waisted jeans on anyone.

Mel looks like she is telling that guy OFF!

Viv, is Viv what can I say!!

  6. I do not like Beyonce’s pantaloons, but kudos to her for giving back to the community.

    Gabrielle is just gorgeous. :brownsista:

    Melanie C…can we say photo-op? Anyone? πŸ˜†

    Vivica… :bag:

  7. @ Helene,

Your article is very interesting. Particularly this quote from Beyonce: β€œI have a strong belief in God and I love going to church, in that I feel like when I go there I can cry and kind of FEEL.”

    “Kind of” Feel? :bag:

Anyway, I can “kind of” πŸ˜† see both sides to this. It was better for them as a girl group to be all wholesome and religious and to portray that image. What better way to get legions of young girl fans to buy your records? I mean, in addition to having great music and natural talent? It worked then.

But once they went solo, things change, priorities change and I don’t know that Beyonce speaks so much of being holy and Christian and religious now, as she did way back then. I mean, once “Crazy in Love” came out, so did the hot pants and the finger licking and the booty poppin’ and gangster thuggerisms and street-glorification came in. She changed, her image changed, the fans she wanted to ‘appeal’ to changed, but who buys her records still? Lil’ girls and of course some ‘older’ girls. πŸ™‚ *sigh* I dunno…at least now that she’s established herself as a sex kitten, oversexed, blatantly sexual (in songs, grooves and moves) star, she doesn’t need to spout “Jesus Saves” anymore.

Again, thanks for that and I can see both sides of the story. Ultimately, I think it’s up to parents to be as aware as possible of what their chirrens are listening to. πŸ™‚

Then again watch them same little girlz run up in here Crying out “haters” “u hate because you wish you were as rich as her” since we are compairing belongings i sure do hate on beyonce her that can compare her (never gotten) high school diploma to my curriculum vitae
But like madame Zenobia said its up to the parents to watch what their kids listen and i’ll add that itsup to the parents to make their childrens feel as loved as possible so they wont need to go and idolize such low characters to feel better
    Love yall [even beyonce] :lol2:

  10. I’m sick of Gabrielle, she’s at every freaking event that I see…All she does is party and pose for pictures, she’s become tired, boring and uninteresting to me.

Gabby please call your agent or manager you need a movie role.

    πŸ™„

  11. I’m a grown woman and I won’t call you haters. I will just say that grown women are still envious, hateful people sometimes. Only God can judge so why not respect the good she’s doing. I know it’s hard for some people to offer a compliment. So I will say as a grown, afro american, wife and mother thanks for giving back. Her reasons are her own but the people this will help is important.

  12. The pics are nice! Vivica why don’t you let nature take it’s course and age gracefully? She’s got it in the bag, just being a Brown Sista! Is it just me, because I always wonder why do women jump from one man the next? Scary Spice was just in a battle with Eddie about the paternity of their child. Now she’s all over the media with some other man in a relationship. Not sure what’s going on, but if it’s drama, it may be because she hasn’t gotten rid of some other baggage. Maybe it’s just me.

Hum yes c’est l’esprit americain ca qu’importe as long as she feeds the poor who cares if she believes in god or not yeah that’s a real mature statement same thing there as long as she stay black and represent SOME black women on s’en fout wether she is classy or not yeah
    Vraiment les blacks …. :lol2:

  14. People are just confused about who Beyonce is (or DC3). People don’t call Halle Berry a hypocrit for example, because she’s not talking about church church church. Kelly Rowland is a self-proclaimed Christian, yet she poses for KING magazine, Beyonce poses for FHM, something is just wrong, just as wrong as Mase signing with G-Unit when he is a pastor. So I can understand why so many people are confused about them.

Deep inside I believe Beyonce loves God, but I believe that, like Mase, Kelly, Michelle, and so one, she’s a believer who fell for the temptation. She drastically changed the moment she started hanging with Jay-Z at age 19/20/21 with that “Bonnie & Clyde” thing. No matter how we love to say “women are more mature”, we’re only human, and she was very young, not to mention all her life she had been overprotected by her parents, the girl got easily impressed, fell in love, and found in him a way to rebel. I’m not “blaming” Jay, I’m giving a possible explanation.

She may need to reevaluate who she is and what she wants, because as hard as it is to admit, Beyonce seems to be more of a puppet than someone in control, first puppeteer was her father. If she loved what she does so much, she wouldn’t feel the need to “blame it on Sasha” and be offended everytime someone mentionned her booty or lapdances to her face, like at the BET awards about the lapdances when Bob Johnson mentionned it. Beyonce smiled but looked very uncomfortable. I believe she sacrificed a lot for fame, and now she’s a “victim” of an image that she (and her label) created to make her a successful solo artist. So it’s like, she can’t give up that image now if she wants to stay on top, cause she got on top with that image so she needs it. Or she can choose to have a more balanced image risking turning off most of her fans who love her for what she does now.

She may be rich but I don’t “wish I was her”, because no matter how rich they are puppets are nothing but well-paid “prisoners”, and prisoners are never really happy. Is life worth living without freedom? I’m not so sure. God bless and help her though.

  15. I must admit Gabreille is quiet beautiful. Madame Z I :iagree:. Helene that was an interesting article that raised some interesting questions. I have always said and not being judgemental she need to chose who she is going to serve and stop sending conflicting messages. But it seems that some people like the confusion because it makes them feel like they can serve God and still do what they want to do.

  16. Chante:whoa this website is not full of ignorants/kids/haters/groupies after all well explained i shared the same opinion then you

Real talk: “some people like the confusion because it makes them feel like they can serve God and still do what they want to do.”

Exactely like these lil girls that call everyone haters because they don’t like her she gives them the validation to do whatever (promiscuity)they want and get away with it by going to church hmmm
But the bible said whoever prays and ask for forgiveness will be forgiven by god rite? does that mean that i can stea lie be promiscuis every other day then go to church on sunday ask for forgiveness then go back to these same activities?

as i said, what she’s doing is a good thing, but i just have a problem her mixing church and her lifestyle together and i did say that everyone seeks God in their own way, but alot of artists are a walking definition of conflict!
