Jennifer Hudson Releases Soaring New Single

REMEMBER ME BY JENNIFER HUDSON

First Listen: ‘Remember Me’ by Jennifer Hudson

Singer Jennifer Hudson quietly released a new single earlier this week titled Remember Me. The track will reportedly serve as the official lead single from Jennifer’s upcoming fourth solo album, her first under Epic Records and the combined tutelage of L.A. Reid and Clive Davis. You can purchase or stream the single now via Apple Music and Spotify. You can also catch Jennifer performing Remember Me live for the first time on tonight’s episode of The Voice UK.

Jennifer penned Remember Me alongside writer/producer Jamie Hartman, and had this to say about the experience: “As an artist, when I discover music that I connect with deeply, it brings me a sense of excitement that I can’t put into words. That’s how I feel about Remember Me. Everything about it is special… from co-writing it with Jamie, to the recording the process, to how it made me feel along the way. I’m so honored to finally be able to share it with you all.”

In addition to releasing new music and coaching on the new season of The Voice UK, Jennifer can also be seen co-starring in the upcoming Netflix film Sandy Wexler alongside Adam Sandler, Chris Rock and Arsenio Hall.

  1. Can I say “Hello” spinoff sister “Remember Me” is a well written song co-wrote by Jennifer Hudson. Ms. Hudson appears to be in the right lane when it comes to her new song “Remember Me.” Fans have waited patiently for this type of song and she soars effortlessly. I can feel the raw emotions she gives to this song. The Harmony’s are superb with no over singing when you hear the chorus. The ending fade out is also great in which you get to hear her lowery registry voice instead of a large holding note. Fans and new fans will remember Hudson with this strong mid tempo ballad.

  2. I like it. It has that chorus sounding backup. Reminiscent of an 80s sound. Don’t ask me to quote who, but it sounds familiar. Could it be the drums? Good on JHud. Good luck.
