Rihanna Covers Elle Magzine for the Fourth Time

RIHANNA COVERS ELLE MAGAZINE FOR THE FOURTH TIME

With new music from Rihanna reportedly set to drop within the next few weeks, the diva’s usual takeover of magazine covers is set to begin.

First up is the December issue of Elle magazine, where its editor, Robbie Myers, notes that during her 15-year tenure Rihanna has been photographed for the magazine five times and featured on its U.S. cover four times, more than any other celebrity or model.

Myers goes on to call the singer the voice of her generation, a fashion icon and an unapologetic, defiant and anti-role model more than worthy of her success and many accolades.

As for what Rihanna has to say about covering the magazine so many times (June 2008, July 2010, May 2012, and December 2014), well the pop’s reigning chart-topper called it an honor, saying “I love that you guys always let me be myself.” Photographer Paola Kudacki echoed Rihanna’s statement, saying the singer “never performs for the camera and is always aware that she is in charge.”

  1. She’s just a natural born model. I think that’s the whole thing about Rihanna, she’s not “pretending”…seems very authentic, flaws and all.
