Check out Rihanna’s new commercial for Gucci. Creative director for the company, Frida Giannini, has said, “I wanted Rihanna on board with this project because she’s so young, so modern, and so iconic.” Rihanna adds, “I have always been a fan of the Gucci brand and the products- especially their handbags. But most of all, I’m very very intrigued by what they’re doing with UNICEF. As an artist, I feel like it’s our duty to make the world a better place if we can. I’m blown away by what UNICEF has been able to accomplish in Africa with the money that Gucci has donated to them. I’m very fortunate to be part of this wonderful collaboration.” 25% of all handbag proceeds from the “Tattoo Heart Collection” will benefit UNICEF.

I’m a fan of Gucci handbags too, but not feeling the Tattoo Heart collection, but it is for a good cause.

I agree with most of you on the tattoo thing. She is such an elegant woman and the tattoos are really taking from her. If she keeps doing that she may not get these kinds of opportunities any more. Rihanna looked great in the commercial but it was a bit boring. Hope that commercial is not this long on TV.

Rihanna’s style is kool but her girl from Barbados, Singer Shontelle, is killing it with the fashion as well. I think her and Rihanna should have a Caribbean fashion show in the states. I would definitely attend!! I really can’t wait to see Shontelle rock some fly fashions on the Ecko float at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!! Hotness! :thumbsup:
