Rihanna’s new “Rated R” CD is rumored to be getting the “I Am… Sasha Fierce” treatment. It appears Def Jam will release two singles/videos simultaneously- one an up-tempo track (The Wait Is Ova) and the other a more subdued laid back track (Russian Roulette). Over the last few days Rihanna has been seen shooting videos for both singles leading many to speculate a two single release before the album’s due date.

Inspired is the word, not copying. Bey had a great concept that paid off, so I believe that Rihanna felt like it matched her goal for this album. If she wanted to convey emotion & edgy club-bangers simultaneously because it matched her vision, no problem there IMO
She has some great people behind her b/c this girl was a flop 3 years ago. I remember playing her song in my car and no one knew who she was.

Big Bey fan here, so I’m positive that if Rihanna had released her album first, then “Beyawnce” would become a copycat, unoriginal, etc. Ppl would’ve jumped all over her. That isn’t right for either of these ladies

They all swap and take what’s good and what works. Beyonce’s cooking on Lady Gaga’s hot plate, because she’s the hottest of the hot right this moment and that’ll change and LG is grabbing up some R&B fans in the process, both very talented in their own right. It’s business!
