Nearly three weeks after getting into a public altercation with boyfriend Chris Brown that left her battered and bruised, Rihanna has finally re-surfaced. The singer was spotted down in Mexico last week, reportedly staying with friends at a private villa. On Saturday she was spotted poolside wearing a white bikini and showing no visible signs of the brutal beating she is reported to have endured. Rihanna has kept a relatively low profile as rumors have swirled over the last few weeks as to what exactly caused the fight between she and Chris.
I personally stopped reporting on this story once I realized there were truly no reliable sources for information anymore. Television shows like Entertainment Tonight are actually getting their information from blogs, which is truly sad. I’m a blogger so I more than anyone knows how much bloggers will lie for the sake of traffic and advertising dollars.
I know the public may be desperate for answers but I wouldn’t expect them anytime soon. Issues like this are handled very delicately by record label image makers and whatever story we do eventually get, it will be the version that best serves the careers of Chris and Rihanna.
In other words- don’t hold your breath waiting for the truth.

Give her break. She is a young lady that got jumped on by her boyfriend and has had to live this nightmare out in public. And as if she wasn’t humilated enough the stupid police officers go and release her picture to the public and everyone has to see the humilation she must have went through that night. Just let her have a moment to soak this in. And for all you women saying that she deserved this leave your abusive relationships right now. Because you don’t deserve to be treated like that. This is a beautiful girl!!! One thing that I like about RIRI is that she knows who she is, she doesn’t turn it on for the white crowd and for the black crowd something different, she is who she is and is recieved well from each group. come on, rihanna is just 21 this is probably her first serious relationship. When you are young, you tend to let your heart rule you instead of your head. If she is indeed in love with Chris, that explains why she is so torn as to what to do. The older people in her life, is probably telling her to drop him and press charges, but her heart and her love for him, is telling her to take him back. Because of her age, she may ultimately make the wrong choice and let her heart rule her head. But in time, through experience she will learn. This is all part of the growing process, sometimes making mistakes and figuring out is part of life.

I think that the disrespect has gotten so out of control in the world of entertainment that we are rationalizing and trying to come up with reason why something has happened. I think if the people who supposedly love Rhianna are supporting this stupid decision then she needs to get some more people around her with some common sense and some love in their heart for her. She is making a very bad decision and I don’t care what age she is. This is not the first time this boy has hit her and it won’t be the last. She will begin getting her but kicked on a regular because she has given him the okay. the report came from people and people do not post lies or things that are not factual. she is there because her entire posse is there. her best friend, her assistant, and her bodyguard were all spotted in pictures with him. why would they be there if she wasn’t? besides, i don’t think her dad would be saying he supports her decision about the reconciliation if it’s not true. i just think she’s staying away from the cameras

Yes People is one of the more credible outlets, but they too do make mistakes. Not saying that Rhianna is not there or there, but just saying in general terms.
Oh yea also… if the DA sees fit they can go on & press charges/ start a case without the help of Rhianna. Many states have the law in place where they can proceed in DV types cases b/c the victims are known to make a charge & then pull out. Some states have gone as far as to make the victims pay the fees for dropping the charges, which could range in hundreds of dollars. In other words, if your gonna put it out there you better follow thru. Either way don’t know what they are going to do, but just saying.

@Woohoo: People has been sued several times and have had to retractions as well as most other publications out there. I don’t think she is there. That is my opinion and it is okay you can have yours. She has been pretty hush about this situation and I think Chris Brown would have found a way to take a picture with her to prove she was there. It was not a coincidence that the girl supposedly her was in a very shaded area and had her face turned. When has Rhianna ever turned her face away from a camera. I just don’t think she is there. I saw those pictures as well and you still cannot tell that is Rhianna. I think something very strange is going on. He is standing tall and proud, but, yet the two times they have tried to show her the first one in the pool which is was obvious that was not her and the next one with a big jacket over her and you couldn’t see her.
