Fresh off of her Jingle Ball duties, Rihanna was spotted getting in some last minute Christmas shopping at the Louis Vuitton store on the Champs Elysees. The singer is said to be in Paris to tape an episode of Star Academy- a Parisian version of American Idol. Rumor also has it the singer will be going into the studio with rapper Kaney West to re-record a version of Kanye’s single, Paranoid. If the rumor is proven to be true the track will reportedly be released sometime in early 2009. However, this is still just a rumor as no official confirmation of this collaboration has been released from either Kanye or Rihanna’s camp.

I don’t think Kanye will do it after the most popular mainstream blog, well ONE of them wrote that he “needed” Rihanna to make what he called “great art” work… I don’t see it that way at all…Rihanna’s into the futuristic sound and, honestly, Kanye probably thought he could help HER in the process… But, yeah, it’s obvious he wanted her recognition in the pop world for a song in that vain…but that means nothing…He might have gotten any huge pop star. I can’t wait to hear them.

riri said her label wanted here to wear a long blonde weave,so that she can have a crossover appeal but one day she was craving to have a hair cut and she did it innocently without consulting them and her label became furious of what she did and they told her to put the weave back on bcoz they believed it was drastic to cut her hair,wear whatever she wants,she was a young girl who was tired of being an industry robot and people were always comparing her to beyonce,the label discovered that her fans love her new look and they let her be giving her the space to redefine herself…..if she has the power to rebrand herself,she will grow and become a better artist and she said she doesnt have a huge team that helps her and the entertainment industry can be a cold,lonely,mean place you need to be strong to survive…..its not what she xpected it to be.

Rihanna’s whole image came from her label, she wore a blonde wig 4 2 albums coz she wanted to be beyonce, poor girl thought that she?’d get to the states and be better than her so called idol beyonce, she forgot that beyonce worked hard for years to get where she is, and she was not willing to do that, but she wanted all the glory, please next year another artist with an edgier style will come in and it will be like rihanna who, look at ciara…if your precious riri spent more time working on her performances or working hard rather than shopping she would be working towards being great. Look with beyonce, hate or love her, take away the lace fronts, the stilletos, the high stage budgets, the fashion, and still you get a hardworking performer who still shines because she loves what she does and takes it seriuosly.
