1. Love it! I like the lyrics, too. And those funny interjections of “Please.” Lovin’ it Rihanna, keep it up Miss.

2. :iagree: with mejesa i love the words too nice little tempo. I notice it hard selling record this days with the downloading artist music. Pretty soon the artists is not going to be making no money.

3. IT’S COOL I GUESS, TOO BAD SHE DIDN’T WRITE IT HERSELF/ I DON’T SEE HOW SELLS ARE GONNA GO UP BECAUSE OF IT THOUGH

4. WOW!!! No disrespect how many people in the business actually write their songs. But like with many thing it’s called “MARKETING ,PUSH IT’ right now she’s the “IT” girl of the moment so it will due something i’m sure of it.

5. NEXT RI RI PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE. SHE CANT EVEN SING AND THE SONG IS SO WACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:noway:

6. Having A Re-Release doesn’t spell failure, it’s just another chance for record companies to make some money. Some people don’t buy the album until the second go-around, I know I didn’t buy B’Day until it was re-released with more tracks. Justin just released his album again, and he did really well with sales the first time. They’re producing these CDs anyway, and more tracks extends the artist’s album run as far as radio, publicity, and keeping them in the lights until they bring out a new project.

7.
I just can’t separate the title of this song from the Madonna song. :|
Funny- me neither, girl.

I like the song though. That beginning is rather funny but cute just the same…

8. not really impressed….didnt buy her ablum first go round and this def wont make it buy it this time around. She should have rereleased it when she still had all that momentum…its gettin close to tht year mark… the lyrics are cute tho, but if sumone else sang it

9. I HATE rereleases! Just another cheap ploy by big corporations to make more money. Either they should put all the songs on the album the first time around or save any ‘new’ ones for the next CD. Why would I want to own two versions of anyone’s album just because they added two new songs? And the record industry wonders why fans download individual songs rather than buy whole CD’s? Maybe if they didn’t treat us consumers like idiots we’d be more supportive of artists. Marketing tactics like the ‘rerelease’ really tick me off.

10. As for Rihanna not writing her own material, I have accepted that she’s the black version of Kylie Minogue. Let’s just all accept that and not get so irritated when Rihanna is mentioned.

11. i loved it can’t wait for the re-release it’s one day before my birthday so i already requested it on my birthday list

12. The song is okay in an Irreplaceable pt. 2 sort of way. Rereleases piss me off if I bought the first album, and then they improve it!

13. I like this song. She sang it well. Kudos to RIhann.
:iagree: with the young lady who said the title reminds her of Madonna’s song. If you really listen, the words on Madonna’s “Take a Bow” are amazing. Love it

14.
The song is okay in an Irreplaceable pt. 2 sort of way.
I knew someone would say that eventually.

15. I going to have to get used to the song. right now it dosen’t WOW me. I would have liked to see her cover Madona’s Take a Bow that song is beautiful. good luck to Rhianna with the 2nd time around.

16. EXACTLY! Record com want fans 2 spend $15 2x? Plus pay fan club membership, plus pay $60-$100 for concert tix? NO WAY.
I HATE rereleases! 17. Wake me up when this madness is over  :lol2:  :lol2:

18. I like this song, its cool, different from the stuff she has on the album. Although this song is not gonna make me buy the album again, may download this one particular song.
But I’m a big fan of rihanna I like her music and I like her style…

Keep doing your thing girl…

And all of those who keep on comparing her to Beyonce’, (as I did notice someone said it sounds like irreplaceable), please stop comparing them, they are two different singers with different styles. Its so irritating to read. Just give rihanna a chance…..

19. You guys need to stop hatin on rihanna!
she is avery talented singer! half the artists out now dont even right their own songs.
so why arent you going and talking shit about them?????
rihanna is very pretty, she has an awsome voice, and she isnt stuck up like half the women in this industry.
i LOVE this song, and ALL her songs!
ohhh and for you people that HATE releases:
if you were in the singing industry and produced songs or whatever, YOU would want to make more money too!
Thats ALL life is about nowadays.

This song does remind of Irreplaceble, and considering that NeYo wrote this song as well, is probably one of the reasons that it does. I never once compared Rihanna to Beyonce -I simply said this song sounds like Irreplaceable to ME. I give Rihanna a chance every time I buy her cds and I have all 3!

24. LOOK if everybody re releasing their material why cant she!!! I ‘m not mad at her there were a plenty of “top notch ” artist i might add Not metioning any names .
who re-released material so if she could make it workfor her by all means handle ya business.

Now saying Rihanna is an awesome singer is stretching it a little bit. Rihanna is more of a “studio” singer. I’ve never heard a good live performance from her. Nonetheless, I do like her as an artist and have bought all 3 of her albums, but is she is no awesome singer. Disagree? See link below:

26.

The song is okay in an Irreplaceable pt. 2 sort of way.
I knew someone would say that eventually.
Well the song was written by NeYo and produced by Stagrgate.

27. if pp were not buying the bootleg copy or downloading it for free artist would not be re-releasing their music

28. Chick still can’t sing! She has mad drive, but she can’t sing. She’s found success marketing her mediocre voice, and I applaud her for that. She’s fashionable and works very hard, but a singer she’s not.

29. Tbis does sound like Irreplaceable” just like Chris Browns song does, because they were all produced by Stargate and/or written by NeYo –so in all this is just another “girl kick em to the curb” anthem for 08′ , I dont have any Pro or Anti feelings towards this song so im just in the “meh” category, but I am confused as to what the incentive is for people to buy the re-release soo long after the first release date, I mean “Umbrella” is her biggest hit, adn I doubt that this song can garner anymore attention to her album than that song did! especially when people can just download the few extra songs..so except for her “devoted” fans ..I doubt that there will be any new converts clamouring to purchase the re-release

BINGO! The entertainment industry is ever changing. Remember when there was no such thing as a remix? Now remixes are standard. Think of re-releases as the new remix.

31. i’m sorry maybe she was young on that performance or something, but on some parts she sounded like a cat being strangled to death!!!

I just don’t understand how she only sold 1.1 million with all that promotion in the USA! So, I really understand that they’re trying to sell more albums because 1.1 mill is not a good look for Rihanna. She’s been everywhere! Heck, Keyshia Cole and Ciara sold more than her with less promo.

33. It’s amazing the amount of hate she receives. I don’t get it. She doesn’t claim to be able to sing like Aretha or blow like Whitney. She does her own thing. White folks have A RANGE of singers…why can’t we? And in her defense, she can at least carry a tune and she looks good, so I ask once more…why so much hate? 😆 Are people mad that she doesn’t sound like Keyshia? or that she can’t dance like Ciara? What’s the dilly, yo? I’m not concerning myself with album sales or other type stats…who cares. Enjoy the music!:brownsista: Peace and blessings.

34. @Kanyade i agree with all the negative things about her. It seem like we have so much negative thing to say about are black women in the industry. Im going to support all my sisterS. We allways hating on each other not lifting each other up. It seem like if a black woman is walking down the street and got it going on we have something to say about it. We need to start being like white people and puerto rican they stick together it does not matter with what. That the only thing that holding us back is envy, jealousy. SO GO RIHANNA DO THE DAMN THING.

35. melissa : how much have you sold?
Lola: where is the video of you singing?

The new generation of pop singers are successful because of their looks it’s that simple

if ciara was ugly she would not sell a cd ,if beyonce was ugly she would only sell 2 cds ,if janet wasnt that cute she would not sell neither there are people out there that can outsing all those of the above but they have a hard time selling

why do you think j.hud still doesnt have an album out? she understood the whole “gotta be banging” process so she took her oscar and concentrated on acting ,next thing you know she’ll be hella rich and black folks will be upset at her for not looking white as ph-uck!

So lets all stop be mad, rihanna is forced down your throat the same way beyonnot has been forced down ours, pretty soon you all are going to be called haters and blogs owner will make millions hosting the wwe (internet) smack rihanna down

the next pretty thing in 10 years will replace rihanna and it will go on and on and on

you the customers made it clear : if the chick aint cute you aint buying it and sometimes you doing it unconsciously so don’t hate her because she is sure as hell not stoping beyouincer’s reign is coming to an end pretty soon like diana ross she’ll be here but people wont give a squat same will happen to rihanna and so and so

ON a more positive note everytime i hear her she sound better i think she can sing her voice is so akward it kind of sound good but people won’t give her a chance because she makes their idols look 50 years old
you need to quit!

Alright love calm down, no need to get your knickers in a twist. The comment wasn’t directed at you, it was meant in general, to all the other comments I have seen on numerous Rihanna blogs…
Oh yeah I mentioned the thing about irreplaceable cause your comment was the first I read that had motioned towards something about Beyonce’. I’m gald that you are a rihanna fan and I’m glad that you think her albums are good…..

37. No one is hating on Little Miss Sunshine 😆 Folks just surprised that she’s coming up short in the USA! It’s mind boggling with all her promo here in the USA, that’s folks are not supporting her. I think most folks love her fashions rather than her voice. Oh well, at least she’s consistant. She’s never been a big seller in the USA. 🙁

38. Well she must be doing something ! She may not be banging up the charts but she’s did enough to get a GRAMMY, All 3 of her album’s did very well on the Billboard@B Charts these are her peak positions of each year she put out an album.

Her 1st album in 2005 peak position on the r@b charts #6 ,2nd peaked #2 2006
her last album it PEAK#3.
Somebody supporting her and it’s not all in europe ,to be honest her fan base is just as similar as many Pop&R@B singers.

No disrespect to no one! Good Laud that hater juice must be served in 32 oz can
up in this cut.

LOL – too funny, but true!

Small correction though, J-Hud’s album was back burnered for a variety of reasons. The main one being Clive Davis is “totally focused” (his words) on Whitney’s comeback project slated to drop in Nov. Let’s hope both Whitney and Jennifer turn out banging music. 😀

There is no video of me singing because I am not a singer, nor am I trying to make it in the recording industry. It is obvious that Rihanna is not a great singer nor does she have a strong voice, but I do enjoy her deliverance over hot beats, which is why I have bought all her albums. I am not hating on Rihanna-just simply stating the truth.

41. well.it’s all about videos.first you hear it , “nothing so special” but when the video come out it would be ” oh God, she’s something!”.
The fact is that lots of songs become hits just for their videos.and in the other side lots of songs are good enough to make hits but ’cause of not having a good video they’re just pushed away like Apologize from one republic that I thought was brilliant but at the market it certainly was a different story.

42. I like the song. Good vocal performance. Rihanna is sounging better everyday and she is still quite young.
People, stop comparing and criticizing based on who your favorite is and just take each song on its own merit.
