Whereas Nicki’s debut album “Pink Friday” entered the charts with impressive sales of just over 375,000 copies, it’s follow up may not even reach the 200,000 mark.
According to first day sales reports from Hits Daily Double, give or take a few thousand, Nicki’s sophomore opus is set to sell somewhere between 200 and 225 thousand copies. Nothing to sneeze at, but quite a bit less than expected from an artist who Time Magazine just named the pre-eminent female rapper of all time.
Despite the worldwide smash Nicki has in her “Starships” single, it appears sales wise, Nicki may be looking at becoming the next singles artists, ala Rihanna and Katy Perry; rather than the next albums artist, ala Taylor Swift and Alicia Keys.

Well I can’t wait until her popularity fades for good! Her music is horrible and what a disgraceful image she portrays.
She can rap. She just needs to leave the auto tune “singing” to Tpain and the gimmicks to Lady Gaga. I’m not feeling her new music and cliche controversies. She has become a cliche parody, which is sad.
I can’t co-sign this chick anymore just cause she is a sista. Her music is detrimental to children, and anyone really who has brain cells.
GOOD!.
