Rumor: Ciara & J-Lo To Duet

What madness have Beyonce and Shakira started? Rumor has it Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming English language album will have her performing a duet with Ciara. Apparently interracial female dancing is in as I can see no other reason why these two totally opposite performers would ever come together. Though both ladies are brilliant dancers, I can’t really see sparks flying between these two as their musical and dance styles are so totally different. Still, it would be interesting to see what type of song and video they would come up with. Whatever they do it would have to be spectacular as we know the comparisons to Beyonce and Shakira would be sure to follow.

I heard Jennifer was suspose to be working with Janet. That made sense to me but not Ciara. Ciara is too much for Jenneifer. She would booty pop Jen right off the stage if they ever performed together.

Ciara is too street for Jennifer who is more reserved and a trained dancer. Ciara is freestyle while Jennifer is choreographed. A song or video with Janet would have worked but not with Ciara. Beyonce and Shakira were a match made in heaven. People had long been comparing the two. But when you think of Jennifer you don’t think Ciara or vise versa. I just don’t see this working out and in the end will only make both ladies seem like copycats.

When I read the headline my first thought was “that would totally work!” IMHO, they are both eye-catching, amazing dancers with shallow vocals. I would love to see them performing together because these ladies can actually dance (not just grind their hips)!

I am not feeling it. I just don’t care for Ciara. She dances to un-lady like, raunchy and nasty.
As far as Beyonce and Shakira, that video was no more than soft porn. There was nothing special about that collaboration. It just seems like these new artist are just trying to hard.
Brandy and Monica’s collaboration of “The Boy Is Mine” back in the day, was so classy and well put together. That was a great collaboration.

I Think it will very interesting but it is copying in a sense but Ciara and JLO atleast they dance instead of just shaking hips and booty. Mayb JAnet turned JLO down . And we all know CIARA IS a street Dancer and very crunk with it and JLO is more resevered Choregraphy dancer like JAnet but i think this will be a huge sensation because you know OPPOSITES ATTRACT!!! GO CIARA!! It will really help JLO Cd sales becuase the last album was good but could have done better. In reaality JLO n SHarkira should TEAM UP!!!
