The timeless beauty that is Sade Folasade Adu, is covering the latest edition of Ebony Magazine. The singer, who recently topped the charts two weeks in a row with her new release “Soldier of Love,” gave the magazine a behind the scenes look into her private life and for the first time discloses why she took so long to release her album and the effect her 13 year old daughter has on her music.

Good to see that Johnson Publications is stepping up to remain relevant by making certain that EBONY publishes articles about issues, people, and news that is happening right now. They don’t have the luxury of planning issues four to six months ahead of time if they want to remain in business or at least the largest and only black-owned media conglomerate.

@SB her album is great I haven’t heard any mix reviews I only heard praise for this album. But everyone has an opinion but if you just want some chilled out music then she is definately the way to go.
Her album is ok. I am a longtime fan and it the least favorite of her six albums. It has grown on me quite a bit over the past few weeks. Check out her “Best of” collection and see what you think before you buy this current album. BUT… I am glad that Sade is back. I hope that if there is another album, it will be more uptempo and “groovy like some of her previous work. I will always be a Sade fan.

Its funny how we always talk about wanting real music and real artists but in essence of Sade just being a dynamic artist all everyone is talking about is what she looks like. I guess if she were ugly some of yall would not be talking about her at all. This is why certain artist don’t breakthrough. They have to break the standards of beauty test first. Thank God Sade is pretty; alot of new fans would be missing out on yet another talented artist.
