Sanaa Lathan Lands New Role In HBO Comedy Pilot

One of my favorite actresses, Sanaa Lathan, is returning to television this fall. The gorgeous brown skin beauty will be joining the cast of Tilda, an HBO original comedy pilot written and directed by Bill Condon (Dreamgirls). The project stars Diane Keaton as a powerful Hollywood reporter with a no-holds-barred personality who meets her match in Sanaa’s character, a mysterious new woman who is brought in to head up operation at a top studio.

Shooting is due to begin this summer in Los Angeles.

Sanaa recently wrapped up her stint in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and can presently be heard voicing the character of Maggie on the FOX comedy The Cleveland Show.
