Last up is Rihanna who is once again garnering a lot of attention for her hair choices. It appears the sista has chopped it all off and not a moment too soon if you ask me. Few people realize short hair can be just as sexy and eye catching as long hair. Both Anita Baker and Toni Braxton set off a hairstyle revolution when they debuted their shorts dos during the late 80s and early nineties.

I love me some Sanaa and Gabrielle. They are my two favorite actresses by far. Rihanna’s new style is flyy too. Not as chic as Anitas or short as Tonie’s but totally fly none the less.

It’s nice to see a picture of Rihanna without all the make-up, the Glitz and the Glam. She is still very pretty, but she is not flawless like her camp would like for us to think. Her new haircut looks on point when it’s done. The photographer caught her during her downtime as she was waiting for a flight i guess…

It seems to me all Rihanna really did was take out the tracks. If you looks at her on the cover of the People style issue it’s obvious she wasn’t wearing all her hair when she had the longer cut.

You mean a bigger star? Cause Rihanna’s a pretty big deal in the mainstream… Maybe you mean movie roles, clothing deals and the like… Last year I heard she has signed on to develop her own line…who knows.

But those were my 90’s inspirations for the short do….Nicole Ari Parker made it hot during “Soul Food” and Malinda Williams is making it hot again…short hair has always been classy and sexy. I am naming all the reasons I should cut off all of my hair and I am still scared to…lol.
