R n’ B diva Keyshia Cole is set to start the new year off on a very good foot. The 27 year old singer will grace the first issue of Jet Magazine in 2009. Hitting newsstands on Monday, January 5th, Jet sits down with Keyshia to talk about her new album, her family, and the future of her hit BET reality series, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is.
When it comes to family, R&B singer Keyshia Cole says her love is unconditional. That is exactly what gives her the solid foundation for the highly successful reality show, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is on BET. “Watching my sister and mom grow makes me feel proud of them,” she tells Jet magazine about her family’s progress.
Although Cole and the family keep it real and let it all hang out in the show’s third season, she hopes that her viewers will get something out of it as well. “I decided to do the reality show because there are young girls out there who are or were in my predicament, coming up the same way I had come up. I had them in mind when showcasing my family’s business.”

I am so excited for Keisha Cole and her mother and sister Neffie. Neffie and Frankie make the show what it is. Congrats to her for bringing her family back together.
I love her show. They deal with some real life issues, no sugar coating. They are brave for putting themselves and their problems out there for all of us to see. Hopefully, Keyshia and her family members will continue to grow and heal. Ultimately that is what we are all here to do.

This woman is annoitted (did I spell this right?). I love her and her desire to want better for herself and family on a spiritual level – not material or monetary. Her vocal cords does not determine her worth in the entertainment industry – it’s her heart!! I’ve watched her shows and always amazed at how well she maintains her composure when dealing with her family and business at the same time. She has a big, big heart!

I watched the show for the first time on BET last night. All I can say is God bless Keyshia , but her family worries me. They seem to be exploiting her, and taking advantage of her money. I hope and pray that they love her for who she is, not what she does. They seem like a real, down to earth family, but they’ve got to get this wealth into perspective. It’s hard-earned money, not a lottery win. I hope I don’t read down the road that Keyshia lost it all, and her family. Stay true to her and yourselves. Keyshia has a God given talent. Use it for good, and take care of yourself.
Ok I use to like Keyshia Cole however she has really gotten the big head and she tries to be so arrogant with those big *** teeth and that new boodie you got LMAO!! CHING CHING! HAHA she doesnt take constructive criticism well so eventually she will flop GO BACK TO OAKLAND! and to be honest she really cant sing LIVE!! I did purchase the CD however its some where collecting dust. I love NEFFE and FRANKIE however the rest of the family is a hot MESS not the kids!! I looked at the last few episodes and Manny wife finally wanted to be seen so she had her say-so on Frankie man. WOW get a life who is the DUDE?
