Singer Toni Braxton Hospitalized

Las Vegas strip headliner Toni Braxton has been admitted to a local area hospital. Toni was admitted to St. Rose Dominican Hospital sometime after her show Monday night at the Flamingo. Hospital officials would not give out particulars about her condition but did say said she was resting comfortably. It is not clear why she is in the hospital, but Braxton does have a heart condition called pericarditis, an inflammation of the sac surrounding the heart. She found out about the condition after the birth of her second son. Toni is also the spokeswoman for the American Heart Association.

    Glad to hear she’s doing better. She’s been through so much physically (her health) and mentally (with her son’s autism diagnosis and the ups and downs of her career). I wish her well.

    Wow, seems like Toni goes through so much, her health and her son being autistic. I hope she is ok. God, please bless Toni and restore her health….Amen.

    Damn, this woman has gone through a lot. I hope Toni is okay and comes back stronger than ever. I loved her music growing up. :)

    She is such and inspiration she fought against her heart disease almost all her life and she keep her household on lock and always have a smile….
