Singers Ciara and Keri Hilson were both spotted in New York City yesterday. Keri had a double dose of fun, first at her CD signing at the Wet Seal and then later on at her album release party. Keri’s long awaited debut album hit record store shelves yesterday and Malinda Williams, Melyssa Ford and a host of other assorted Brown Sistas all came out to help her celebrate. Ciara, whose latest CD Fantasy Ride is also due to be released soon, was spotted at the Waverly Inn in the West Village having dinner with friends.
Poor Ciara cannot catch a break these days. Like Keri her album has been delayed multiple times and now she is catching heat for a video some say is too overtly sexual for her young fan base.
On the other hand, the lovely Tamera and Tia Mowry do not have that problem. The young sister have kept their clean cut image intact over the years and continue to thrive in Hollywood. The pair were seen last night attending TV Guide’s Sexiest Stars 2009 party.

Ciara looks hot. The Mowry sisters WOW. They are identical; however, their individual style is on point, and it sets them apart. Which one is with the short bob? It works for her. Lovely piercing eyes.

When I first heard “Sex, Love and Magic” on the radio, I instantly liked it. Something about the hard & funky beat and Cici’s light voice just smash well. Justin T didn’t even have to be on that record or even on the video for me to enjoy it.
The video left a bad taste in my mouth. The way JT is pulling her drawers/tight off her @$$ turns me off, and I didn’t appreciate his suggestive hands all over her behind either [since they are not an item]. His treatment of her were unnecessary. They had great potential to push up the envelop and steam up that video real good, but that didn’t happen. He didn’t even bust a move as if he is too cool to reciprocate her OBVIOUS moves on him. You would think maybe he would make up for his lack of dancing through acting like he is sprung as a result to what she’s doing for/to him. Unfortunately, his acting falls short too. The energy between these two is unbalance. Ciara comes off as deperate to please him while his level of interest is low. I’m kind of embarass for her. I guess she did manage to make him believe in a quicky…minus the love and magic.
I love how Ciara highlights her flexibility and all. Plus, she does look gorgeous in the vid. However, that video get a :thumbsdown: from me. I can’t even listen to the song now without these pictures replaying in my head.
Everyone looks amazing, but Keri Hilson… I think she’s gorgeous. Just hates how she wears her hair. =(

Everybody looked good :thumbsup: imo, EXCEPT Melyssa Ford, the girl looks like a low level streetwalker. Keri sold me on her album when I saw the “Knock you down” video the other day. I went right out yesterday & picked it up( the album). Yea I don’t agree w/ her backpeddling, but @ least she not feeling on lil kids like some & that REALLY was her 1st slip up.Now had she did something TOTALLY brutal or it was a reoccurence of bad choices, it would have been a no go. The point is that her album is GOOD imo, the ONLY song that I am not really feeling is that “Energy” song. No I wasn’t a big fan of hers, but she won me over :smile: .
Keri just seems really boring. She has no star power about her at all that just pulls you in. Her singing is just Ok, but I do wish her good luck with the album.

True Indeed all the sisters are stunning, I love that female power, I took a Listen to Keri’s Album and it is IMO the best album by a female in 2009, and she can really sing too, I was agreably surprise I might purchase it when i go to Target to earrings and diapers Shop today :)
On the other note I think that some Brownsista Readers are very Hypocrite and bring us 20 step back, with their weak argumentation and irrelevant remarks

Another website pointed out that Ciara had a hole in right knee of her tights. If you click on the second pic above of her, you can see it. I wonder what happened? Mabye she fell or got it caught on something… I wouldn’t think she would be that sloppy on purpose.

Girl this is NOT by far the best CD of 2009. Her album is OK sounds like something Ive heard before, nothing special about it. Wish her well though, that cocky attitude will have that album at #20 if she keeps it up.

ciara is attractive but i always wonderd about attractive woman who feel they need to be overly sexy to attract attention. her video was great “adult entertainment”. i say “adult” because the majority of her fans are teenagers. i do believe ciara is trying to get a more mature audience, but damn she really went way to far lol she seems a little lost in what/where she wants to be. she has this “overly sweet” disposition that makes me wonder about her. why, to be portraying that kind of “sweetness” and almost all you video are sexy or overly sexy makes me feel she is pretending. this sweetness is for the cameras only. hey whatever gets you ahead and the money. after seeing that video with JT i now believe that it was her on 50 cent’s album cover….hmmmmmmmm
