When photos of Janet Jackson performing in concert first hit the net a few weeks ago many thought the singer had packed back on the pounds she only recently lost in late 2007. However, pics of Janet at Jermaine Dupri’s birthday party last night tell another tale. It appears that extra thickness Janet appeared to be sporting while in concert, was just an illusion of the camera. Wearing a sheer leopard print blouse and figure hugging black skirt, Janet was a vision of 1940s glamour as she walked the red carpet of the Tejune Bar where Jermaine’s 36th birthday party was held.

Janet looks GREAT! The reason the pics look the way they do is probably because she is short and doesn’t have heels on and Janet has thick thighs and a big ol booty, so it can make her look stubby in something that is skin tight. In any case, we can all see that she hasn’t gained any weight. If anything, she’s loosing more because of the tour.
Love me some Janet!! But something is off about her foundation or is it the lights from the cameras? I’ve seen other pics and it looks off.

LOVE LOVE LOVE, Janet since I was two years old, but wtf to her foundation? Her makeup artist should be SUED! I don’t care about the FRIKKEN lighting, they should be able to make foundation for women of color it is 2008! C’mon now.

She doesn’t look skinny at the party. She is just a stacked woman. She has the but most of us or atleast I would kill for. Why does everyone have to be skinny. Women are curvy and cushy that is the way God made us. There is nothing wrong with that.
Janet looks gorgeous. She has no reason to envy ANYONE because she has her own style.
I`m not a female but I would like to say one thing about make-up/foundation. It`s not like I have a P.H. D when it comes to the subject. However, my comment is simply this:
Make-up/foundation is not for, nor has it ever been for, women of color anyway, i.e. blacks/hispanics/latinos/asians/etc. It is for caucasians, PERIOD. Women of color already have a natural color that needs no enhancement. You have a permanent tan with the melanin in your skin. Leave the make-up/foundation alone. It`s not for you, never has been. Stop following the ways of the woman from Paris/caucasians. Just dew you beautiful, black queens. Leave the woman of Paris/caucasians to their own devices…..
