Beyonce’s “Resentment” is my jam of the moment y’all.It’s my official man hating song of 2006.Though not an official Beyonce fan and definitely not a stan, I have to give it up for Bey on this one.She blows this song out the water.Her vocals are strong and angry and just down right gut wrenching.You feel every lyric of this song and at the end you are literally spent.I’ve had this song on repeat for the past two days and I’m still not tired of it.Listen for yourselves and I think you’ll love this song as much as I do.

    No, seriously though, I am aware the song has been out there for a few weeks but I only recently gave it a listen as I am not typically fond of Beyonce’s songs.This post wasn’t to introduce you to the song, but rather to say this is what I am feeling right now.

    But whether the song is 1 week old and 100 years old, I can assure you there will be dozens of people who stop by here who have never heard the song and will enjoy listening to it.

    Once you visit this blog enough you will discover 2 things.First, I don’t post the same thing most sites do and I am never, ever late with anything honey.

    The song is new to me too but just like all the other songs from this album I just can’t stand the screaming.The only song from this cd I like so far is Irreplaceable.

    i loooved this redention of “resentment” she done a fab job..i also enjoy “irreplaceable,freakum dress,dejavu,greenlight,upgrade,kitkat and the dreamgirl track near the end. i think overall her cd deserves an 9%.:razz::banana:

    This version is nice but I really LOVE the version that Jazmine Sullivan recorded. She has a very soulful voice and makes the song sound really old school. Something like Etta James or someone around that era would have done. I love the song though. Listen to Jazmine’s version and you be the judge.

    I have heard Jazmine’s version as well and as bad as this may sound, I like her version the least.
