SWV Returns with New Video

SWV are officially back. Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Tamara “Taj” Johnson-George and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons have returned with the video for their first single “Co-Sign,” taken from their upcoming album “I Missed Us,” due out April 10th.

Check out the visulas below and let us know what you think.

  1. All I saw were awful mounds of fake hair. Come back home sistas. This look makes black women look so desperate to have what they don’t. Out own hair is beautiful. We don’t need mounds of synthetic hair to be beautiful.

  2. i love them! so glad they stuck to their original selves and not try to conform to the garbage thats out now.

they have always been positive black role models to me, doesnt matter what hair or makeup they have on. (and im a natural haired gal).

they make black look so beautiful….

  3. Totally agree w/Jenna. I’m sooooo tired of Black women being uncomfortable with their authentic selves. Give the hair back to the Indians/Europeans/horses, etc. The track was great and they look pretty. Glad they’re back!

  4. @Jenna and Malatrex You two speak what I have know for a while. A lot of black women are uncomfortable with their natural selves. A lot of us have been socialized to feel anything European is desirable. So sad that you can’t feel beauty in yourself unless you debase yourself into something that you are not.

  5. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm………..I’m happy that they’re back as I’ve been a fan since the beginning of time BUT, I’m not really feeling this…………..

I don’t know, feels like something is missing……….(JMO)
