Michelle & Barack Cover US Weekly
The hotness that is Michelle and Barack Obama will cover next week’s edition of US Weekly which hits the newsstands this Friday (June 20th). The magazine will feature a six page article on the couple’s love story as well as an album of previously unseen family photos. The cover headline reads “Michelle Obama: Why Barack Loves Her” and adds, “She shops at Target, loves “Sex and the City” and never misses the girl’s recitals. The untold romance between a down to earth mom and the man who calls her “my rock”. Barack’s obvious love of his wife is so inspiring and not something shown in the media very often. We see all types of love shown via the American media, but Black love, healthy Black love, is usually not one of them. We also see Black men loving all types of women, but again, rarely is the woman Black and so beautifully brown as Michelle- and that is why the conservative media is out to get her- them. This couple is powerful. Their image is powerful and shatters every myth and stereotype ever spread far and wide about us.
