As many of you know there have been rumors circulating for a while now that this season would be the last for the show Girlfriends. Monday’s show was billed as the season finale while others believe it was the series finale. Whatever the case may be, last night’s episode was definitely one to remember. Joan finally got the proposal she had been lusting after since the show began almost eight years ago. William and Monica reunited and Maya and Darnell purchased a home and moved back to the old neighborhood.

Andrea Kelly saunters into the room with her stiletto boots clicking, her shoulder-length curls bouncing; she’s sparkling like the crystal hoops dangling from her ears. Despite her famous last name, few in the room know who she is. She’s used to that. Andrea has been ignored before, like in those posh stores near Chicago’s Gold Coast or in Los Angeles, where burly bouncers blocked her from crossing the velvet ropes—that is, until the gatekeeper found out who she was. Then it was “Oops.†Disbelief turned to immediate accommodation. And then came the apologies, “Sorry, Mrs. Kelly.†But mostly it’s, “I didn’t know he had a wife.”

Rapper Eve is featured on the cover of the April/May issue of Giant Magazine and gives a very candid and indepth interview that touched on everything from her failed television show to the rumors of her only dating White men.On the eve of the release of her new album Here I Am, the raptress goes back to her roots and attempts to regain the throne she relinquished some four years ago to concentrate on her acting career.The issue is full of some very beautiful photos and the interview is just as pleasing.

Actress Vivica Fox was reportedly arrested last night under the suspision of driving while drunk.After being pulled over by a CHP for exceeding the speed limit, Vivica was given a field sobriety test. She failed the test and was then taken to the Van Nuys Jail.Vivica was once again given two breathalyzer tests which she is believed to have failed also.Vivica did not have to spend the night in a cell though as she was cited by police and released on her own recognizance to the custody of her assistant.She will have to appear in court at a later date, to be determined by the City Attorney’s office within 45 days if they decide to proceed with charging her.

I don’t believe this story, but is sure makes for great water cooler talk.
“Over the last couple of months Beyonce’s career seems to be caught in a downward spiral. She released two very mediocre singles, Déjà vu and Ring the Alarm. Her fans created a petition criticizing her latest video. And just last week her album B-Day received terrible reviews.
Now it appears that Mathew Knowles is desperate to stop Beyonce’s star from falling any further. And it appears that his first order of business is nothing short of spectacular. MediaTakeOut.com spoke exclusively with an insider at Sony BMG who claims that Knowles is trying to postpone the release of Beyonce’s sophomore album B-Day.

Poor Beyonce just can’t seem to catch a break these days.Forced to answer accusations that her new single ((Ring The Alarm)) is a direct response to Rihanna and rumors that she is too close to Jay-Z, Beyonce sent off a letter to Vibe.com explaining just why “Ring The Alarm” was chosen as the next single.Funny thing is, Beyonce never mentions the relationship between Jay and Rihanna, which is what the original Vibe article was all about.
