The 36-year old former Rosewood star was recently lensed by photographer Cesar Balcazar, who first worked with the songstress during her two-season stint on the HBO drama Treme.

Get ready to say goodbye to Scandal, Gladiators. According to published reports, season seven of the hit ABC political drama will be its last. The show’s creator and showrunner, Shonda Rhimes, will reportedly make the announcement at the network’s Upfront presentation on May 16th.

I hate to be a Negative Nelly, but remember when all it took to make you love or hate a song was listening to it? Remember when music used to capture your imagination and take you places? Jill Scott to Star in Lifetime Film About the Flint Water Crisis
In addition to her tour this summer, singer Jill Scott also plans to return to the small screen via Flint, the upcoming Lifetime movie about the government poisoning of Flint, Michigan’s water supply. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will explore the true story of three activists fighting to expose the cover-up, as well as seek justice for those affected the city’s lead-tainted water lines.
