Dance diva Ciara took over the Six Flags Amusement park in Austell Georgia today and had the Goliath Roller Coaster renamed the Fantasy Ride, in honor of her upcoming CD. Accompanied by her parents, the singer took a spin on her Fantasy Ride, indulged in Six Flags goodies, signed autographs for fans, and according to Sincerely Ciara.com, even performed a few tracks from her upcoming album. As you all know, Ciara’s third solo CD is tentatively scheduled to be released in November of this year and her new single and video, Go Girl, are due to hit the airwaves sometime next month.

R n’ B diva Ciara would like to set the record straight about the photo spread she shot for the October issue of Vibe magazine: She was not nude, and yes, she’s very upset by the magazine’s depiction of her as such — but she is not planning any legal action against the urban glossy. “I think, at this point, I’d rather just be quiet about things such as that but I definitely want to make it clear that I was going in to do something artistic, and I was upset that when I saw the photos, everything was gone,” the singer told MTV News last weekend, from the set of her forthcoming music video for “Go Girl,” which features a cameo from T-Pain. “It’s very, very upsetting and somewhat misleading.”

For this edition of Fashionista101’s ‘Style Stealer’, Taraji recently attended a screening for her latest film, ‘The Family That Preys’, wearing a cute pink opened-back mini-dress. Ciara first wore hers to a Choice FM party, back in April. She paired it with a set of black platform sandals, while Taraji rocked hers with some blue suede peep-toe pumps.

The 25th Annual MTV Video Music Awards were held last night in Los Angeles, California and R n’ B divas were in full effect. Rihanna took to the stage, while Solange, Keri Hilson, D. Woods and many others showed up for the festivities. Rihanna, pictured to your right, wowed the paparazzi with her red carpet outfit, and then later wowed the VMA audience with her performance of Disturbia, and Live Your Life, which she collaborates on with rapper T.I. Rihanna didn’t take home any awards this year, but Erykah Badu’s Honey video did win for Best Video Direction. Since the first photos of Ciara posing in the buff for Vibe Magazine hit the net, fans and non fans alike have been wondering why Ciara, a singer who has been relatively modest about her displaying her sexuality, would make such a bold move and disrobe for all of the world to see. Well, one quick glance at a quote from the magazine pretty much tells the tale. “They said I was a man! It doesn’t get any worse than that”. It appears all those nasty internet rumors about the singer forced her to make a very in your face statement about what she was working with. Condé Nast’s 5th Annual ‘Fashion Rocks’ concert took place last night @ NYC’s Radio City Music Hall. Celebeauties like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Solange, Mariah, Mary J, and much more performed, but the biggest attraction was, of course, the fashion.

Ciara’s third solo CD, Fantasy Ride, officially will be introduced to the world via it’s first single, Go Girl, which features vocals and production from rapper T- Pain. As many of you well know, several singles from Fantasy Ride have been leaked to net and as recently as last week several websites had confirmed High Price, a single that features Ludacris, as the official first single from the CD. However, we all know how quickly things can change and Go Girl, which has also been leaked online, has officially gotten the nod and will hit the airwaves in late September. You can view the cover for the single to your right- and Ciara has clearly chosen sex as the main theme for her new CD, and if you need anymore proof of that, you need only check out the cover of the October 2008 edition of Vibe Magazine.

As previously reportedly earlier this week, some of music’s biggest female singers have come together to record a song in support of cancer research. “Just Stand Up”, features vocals from singers Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Beyonce, Keyshia Cole, and many others. The single will officially hit radio and be available for download on iTunes September 2nd, however a leak of the single has made it’s way to the internet and can be heard here. All the ladies who participated in the making of this single will also come together September 5th to perform the song live during the “Stand Up To Cancer” TV special, set to air simultaneously on ABC, CBS and NBC.
