What madness have Beyonce and Shakira started? Rumor has it Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming English language album will have her performing a duet with Ciara. Apparently interracial female dancing is in as I can see no other reason why these two totally opposite performers would ever come together. Though both ladies are brilliant dancers, I can’t really see sparks flying between these two as their musical and dance styles are so totally different. Still, it would be interesting to see what type of song and video they would come up with. Whatever they do it would have to be spectacular as we know the comparisons to Beyonce and Shakira would be sure to follow.

Y’all know how we do things around here every Friday, so let’s get right to it shall we? This week’s roundup is a treat as we have beautiful high quality photos of Ananda Lewis who is pretty reclusive these days. You all remember Ananda from her early days as host of BET’s Teen Summit. The sista then jumped ship and headed on over to MTV where she was a VJ for five years. Ananda was so popular on MTV that they bankrolled her talk show. Unfortunately, the show only lasted for two seasons but I still consider her the original Tyra.

Ciara performed at the Redline After Party in Los Angeles last night and as always the sista continues to do things with her body some of us only dream of. I admit I have not always been a fan of her style, but I respect the her ability to twist her body like a contortionist. If nothing else-the sista sure is flexible.

It’s been a minute since we last posted anything on Ciara so I thought I would share these candids with you all.Ciara was spotted last night out on the town taking in the vibes at Rich Boy’s album release party.We love CiCi and all but sista could have thrown on some concealer before she left the house.Girlfriend is a star now and needs to recognize that cameras will always be on her when she steps outside the confines of her home.On a high note- the sistas shoes are fierce and totally save her outfit.Check her out below and click over to participate in our poll of the day.

There was something for everyone when fashion and music’s elite converged at the 3rd. annual BET “Rip the Runway” show. Performances by some of the music industry’s best and brightest stars provided the perfect backdrop as some of the hottest models strutted down the runway in this year’s fiercest fashions.The show was hosted by Ciara and Chris Brown and is scheduled to air on March 14th.Random pics are posted below and more can be found in our gallery on BrownSista.net

Ciara is reminding me so much of Aaliyah these days.Not in the sense that she is copying her style, but rather she too started off very much as a tomboy, but overtime has turned into such a young lady.Here Ciara is pictured at the “Step Up” Los Angeles Premiere showing off her new more feminine style.
