D. Woods Releases New Music

Former Danity Kane member D. Woods recently unveiled the artwork for her long delayed EP “The Gray Area.” The compilation was originally scheduled to be released back in 2009 but was pushed back multiple times as D. chose to go back into the studio to rework her sound.

Now set for a July 12th release via iTunes only, you can check out the EP’s first single “Lady in the Streets, which was released back in late 2010 below, as well as the more pop version of the tune (Lady in the Streets Part 2) D. hopes will help put her on the pop charts.



Sistas @ The 2008 MTV Video Music Awards

The 25th Annual MTV Video Music Awards were held last night in Los Angeles, California and R n’ B divas were in full effect. Rihanna took to the stage, while Solange, Keri Hilson, D. Woods and many others showed up for the festivities. Rihanna, pictured to your right, wowed the paparazzi with her red carpet outfit, and then later wowed the VMA audience with her performance of Disturbia, and Live Your Life, which she collaborates on with rapper T.I. Rihanna didn’t take home any awards this year, but Erykah Badu’s Honey video did win for Best Video Direction.
