Meagan Good Joins ‘NO MORE’ Campaign


In the wake of her role as a victim of domestic violence on the NBC hit series “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” actress Meagan Good has announced her affiliation with NO MORE, a public service campaign dedicated to bringing attention to the growing trend of victim shaming in the media.

Meagan will appear in online public service announcements and tour the country speaking at events hosted by NO MORE, which launched in 2009 with a focus on awareness and the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assaults.

Stephen A. Smith, co-host of ESPN First Take, has been suspended for making, what has been deemed as, impervious comments about the role women take in domestic violence.

During Friday’s airing of First Take, the Baltimore Raven’s running back, Ray Rice’s domestic violence case was being discussed amongst Smith and First Take regulars, when Smith commented that, women often times “provoke” men to act in a violent matter towards them.

Porsha Williams Details Abusive Past with Ex

Porsha Williams has been on a publicity blitz since her hair pulling stunt on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion got her booted from the special two weeks ago.

According to Porsha, who says the incident with Kenya Moore caused her to black out, her response to the former Miss USA’s taunts were a direct result of abuse she says she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband Kordell Stewart.

In an Access Hollywood interview with Billy Bush, Porsha says she felt threatened by the scepter Kenya was wielding and that in a split second she reacted to defend herself.
