* So, I’ve chosen my fave looks from last week’s star-studded events. It’s obvious that I pretty much like them all, but I wanna see how you all feel.

Kerry - She was spotted last week @ an NYC fashion event, wearing a black Marchesa Resort 2009 gown, with jeweled embellishments. She was def one of the best out the bunch!
Solange - Solo looks super-cute in this belted 3.1 Phillip Lim mini-dress, and Miu Miu Dragonfly sandals. I love her hair, and she no doubt wore this better than the last few.
Ciara - Receiving Billboard Mag’s “Woman of the Year” award, Ci posed for the cameras in what I feel is an amazing business-fashionable ensemble! She wore a fitted white blazer, crisp black bustier dress, and a fab pair of Balenciaga’s Escarpin booties, straight from Balenciaga’s Fall 2008 line. She too, wore this better than her competition.

So, again, it seems Miss Meagan Good is up to no good! She’s already been admitted into my *Style Rehab* clinic, once before, which was obviously not enough. Don’t get me wrong – every woman has her favorite pumps, flats, top, bag, whatever. But, Meagan has gone overboard. She’s been acting since way before her pre-teen years, and dates NFL player, Thomas Jones. So, my whole thing is: when you’re a celebrity, with celebrity money, and a celebrity man — why should you leave your home this way?!

In this edition of *Style Rehab*, peep Meagan’s favorite strappy Jimmy Choo gladiator sandals, Leopard YSL Tribute Heels, black latex leggings, leather jacket, black spikey hoop earrings, gold plate belt, and double chain anklet. She also has a mild obsession for her black denim Louis Vuitton bag — but we won’t go there!

* My last thought: It’s sad that I still look at Meagan as a fabulous individual. I love her! So, I’ll create an excuse on her behalf –> Okay, so she’s dating T. Jones, right? Well, maybe she and all their friends got together for a game of Chinese Checkers — Miss Goodie winds up losing — and the bet was for her to O.D. on the same outfit, or close to it, for the rest of ‘08. Yeah! That’s it! Duhh. Well, it’s obvious that Meagan’s a good sport, because she still manages to put on a smile! Go TEAM GOOD !

Ashanti celebrated her bday bash on Monday night, at Area Nightclub, in West Hollywood, CA. Tons of celebs (mostly D-Z listers) came out to be a part of the festivities, which was surprising because I didn’t see anyone there, except for Tamala Jones and Meagan Good, that would be friends of hers. Anywho — she wore a pink and black Marchesa dress, with a pair of black suede pumps, which are so classic, and a definite must for this fall’s fashion trends. Keyshia Cole also [apparently] celebrated her bday that night, along with Ashanti, and has worn the same style of Marchesa dress to this year’s BET Awards, back in June, with a pair of black Manolo Blahnik ‘PEPE’ sandals (see below photos).

I didn’t know this until the other day, and I don’t know if it’s a good thing, or bad, but Chanel Iman is the first black model to walk the runways of Gucci, since 2005. It may sound bad, but what’s worst is that British model, Jourdan Dunn, walked for Prada last season, and was the first brown sista in 10yrs!!

Former Gucci designer, Tom Ford, ended his reign in 2005, so maybe it’s the fault of current designer, Frida Giannini, why it has taken so long. And, why only one black model? I know it might not seem like there’s a lot of black models around, but believe me, there are. They just don’t get the same chances.

* So, my question is:
 - If you were a black model, and in Chanel or Jourdan’s shoes, would you feel honored to be employed to a company such as Gucci or Prada?

The 28yr old British singer recently wore a pair of the very fashionable Pierre Hardy velvet heels [w/ gold cube detailing] to her arrival at a performance she took part in, last week, in London. Nia first wore the same designer heel, in black, a few weeks prior.

Ciara first wore hers to a Choice FM party, back in April. She paired it with a set of black platform sandals, while Taraji rocked hers with some blue suede peep-toe pumps.
