Actress and fiance to rapper D-Nice, Malinda Williams, has slowly made a smooth transition from television, playing Bird Van Adams on the Showtime original series, Soul Food, to leading lady in several Black Hollywood movies. After appearing in 2006’s Idliewild, Malinda was seen in 2007’s Daddy’s Little Girl and will be seen again starring alongside Ice Cube in his upcoming movie, First Sunday, which is due to hit theaters January 11th.
