Brown Sistas Halle Berry and Meagan Good were both spotted earlier this week- Halle on the set of her new movie “Frankie and Alice” and Meagan hanging out at Club Villa in Los Angeles. First up is Halle, who was seen filming scenes from her new movie up in Vancouver British Columbia. Halle has her hands full these days as she is not only starring in her new movie, but producing it as well. Word is the actress has also signed on to star in three new movies as well, Nappily Ever After, Class Act and Tulia, which finds her teaming up again with Billy Bob Thorton.

Alongside a photo spread that shows her in little more than a T-shirt, Halle Berry talks about being the sexiest woman alive, a title Esquire magazine gives her in its November issue. “I don’t know exactly what it means, but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I’ll take it,” said Berry, who gave birth to her daughter, Nahla, in March. “Sexiness is a state of mind — a comfortable state of being,” she said. “It’s about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments. I share this title with every woman, because every woman is a nominee for it at any moment. So, thanks for the honor.”

Actress Halle Berry was one of eight women honored last night by Elle Magazine at their 15th Annual Women in Hollywood event. Halle, along with Salma Hayek, Jane Fonda, Nicole Kidman, and others, were honored for what Elle calls their profound impact on the industry. Elle editor-in-chief Robbie Myers explained that the selection of these eight amazing women was simple: “The honorees this year are remarkable. They have pushed boundaries both on screen and on behalf of all women in Hollywood,” she said. “They have conquered this industry with grace and style, and we at Elle feel they should be commended for their contributions to this field.”

Actress Halle Berry was spotted by the paparazzi leaving her morning workout at the Brentwood gym. Dressed casually and listening to her iPod, the actress carried along an interesting book that caught the the attention of the photogs. Ordinarily, being seen reading a book titled “Diagnosis and Treatment of Multiple Personality Disorder” would be cause for alarm, but in Halle’s case it is more than likely just research for her new movie role. As previously reported, Halle has signed on to star in and produce the indie movie Frankie and Alice, a psychological drama in which she plays a character with multiple-personality disorder.

Actress Halle Berry was spotted getting in some mother-daughter bonding time over the Labor Day Weekend with daughter Nahla Ariele Aubry. The pair was seen visiting the Los Angeles Zoo with Halle’s mother, Judith Hawkins. Rarely seen with a bodyguard, Halle chose to bring one along on her trip as well, most likely to keep the paparazzi from getting too excited about finally getting clear pics of the 5 month old, who has been kept under wraps since her birth back in late March. As previously reported, Halle Berry has teamed up with perfume giant, Coty, to release her own signature line of fragrances. The 42 year old actress, who was just named “Sexiest Black Woman Alive” by TV One, was seen filming the first commercial for that fragrance yesterday in Hawaii. Speaking of her deal with the frangrancier, Halle said: ““For years I’ve created my own personal scent by mixing fragrances at home. I am passionate about this project as I’ve always wanted hands-on experience in creating a fragrance that is a true representation of me. Selecting a fragrance is a very personal choice and I am delighted to have this opportunity to express myself in a creative new way working with Coty.” Look for Halle’s fragrance to make it’s worldwide debut in the Spring of 2009 and to check out TV One’s countdown of the 16 Sexiest Black Women, tune in to the cable channel this Sunday, July 6th.
