Jennifer Hudson: ‘Remember Me’ Video
Singer Jennifer Hudson is back with the video for her new single Remember Me. The track is the first from the Oscar winner’s upcoming fourth solo album and first under Epic Records and the combined tutelage of Clive Davis and producer L.A. Reid. Jennifer signed with the label back in 2015 and has been hard at work on her debut ever since. She’s reportedly been in the studio with everyone from Diane Warren to Pharrell Williams and is set to release the project sometime this year.

Jennifer Hudson to Star in Netflix Comedy Sandy Wexler

The Academy Award-winning singer and actress will once again get to showcase her beautiful voice, playing the character of Courtney Clarke, a singer who catches the eye of Wexler (Sandler), a bumbling Hollywood agent who manages a group of eccentric clients.
Jennifer Hudson to star in Live Hairspray Musical
While Jennifer Hudson is currently starring in the latest Broadway iteration of The Color Purple, come this fall she’ll return to the small screen to co-star in the live NBC production of the musical, Hairspray. The Oscar-winning actress will play Motormouth Maybelle, a role originally made famous by singer Ruth Brown.
When The Color Purple makes its return to Broadway this fall, it will be doing so with an amazing array of talent.
Along with Jennifer Hudson, who will play the role of Shug Avery, we have Cynthia Enrivo, who wowed fans in the London production as Celie, and Danielle Brooks (Orange is the New Black) who will be taking on the role of Sofia.
Jennifer and Cynthia recently recorded a duet together of the play’s title track, which will be featured in the show when it begins previews on November 10, and then opens live at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on December 10.
