Video Vixen Karrine Steffans recently sat down and did an in depth interview with HipHollywood.com about the abuse she says she has suffered at the hands of her boyfriend, former Family Matters co-star, Daris McCrary. According to a police report obtained by the website, Darius is said to have squeezed Karrine’s neck while saying “Go to sleep bitch. Go to sleep.” Their most recent encounter happened Thursday, June 5th when Steffans again called the police claiming Darius tried to run her over with his car. Karrine Steffans is featured on the inside of the December 2007 issue of Vibe Magazine as well and she gives a pretty interesting, if not somewhat odd, interview concerning her relationship with Lil Wayne (who?). Karrine swears she’s in love with this man and says- and I quote- “He is my John Lennon and I am his Yoko Ono”. I honestly don’t have much to say about that as I don’t even know who Lil Wayne is. I mean I know he’s a rapper but I can’t name any of his songs cause rap just ain’t my thang. I also won’t speculate on the “realness” of the relationship because hey, you never know where you will find love. So why did I write this if I wasn’t really wasn’t gonna say anything worth reading? Well, because I prefer to read what you guys have to say. So say it. Has Karrine finally found love? And is it really possible for Lil wayne, a rapper, to openly and honestly love Karrine as his woman when she has been with so many men in his industry- men he has to run into and look in the eye, knowing they have had “his woman” ? Lastly, can someone explain to me how she kisses him with all that stuff in his mouth (lol).

As I was checking the stats for the site last night I saw that someone had done a seach for “Karrine Steffans” that led them here.Totally bored, I decided to head on to Karrine’s official website to see what the sista was up to.As it turns out, her website has been updated and she is now leaving video diaries for her fans.There is also an entire section devoted to her television appearances as well as her upcoming projects.Word has it Bobby Brown wanted BRAVO to continue on with his show with Karrine replacing Whitney but apparently that idea was scrapped and “Being Bobby Brown” will not be returning to BRAVO.Anyway, go check out Karrine’s videos where she speaks directly to her fans from where else- her jacuzzi and her bedroom.

Karrine Steffans, or “Superhead” as she is affectionately known in the business, was out and about last night as she showed up at a party to celebrate TMZ.com’s one year anniversary.I know a lot of people do not like this woman and may find it odd that we would even cover her here, but I personally admire her because I think she is a survivor.It takes one helluva woman to go through what she went through as a child and a woman and walk away with not only your head held high but to be able actually flip the script and make all that negativity work for you is nothing short of amazing to me.Anyway, you can Check out Karrine’s pics below and look for the hqs in our gallery soon.

Karrine Steffans recently participated in a conference held at the Essence Music Festival on the image of women in hip hop.I’m sure most of you know Karrine from her bestseller “Confessions of A Video Vixen”, but there is so much more to this Sista than her sordid past, and we here at Brown Sista decided to try and showcase that.

Karrine Steffans‘ publicist Gilda Squire just released a statement today about the Page Six story. She says it is inaccurately depicting Karrine as a porn star since it reads as if she is currently doing videoss. The video is actually 6 years old and Mr. Marcus (her co-star in the movie) is getting it released against her wishes. You can read the details below.

book Confessions of a Video Vixen, Karrine Steffans, responds to the rampant
reports that she has willingly participated in a forthcoming adult video, as
reported on April 18, 2006 in Page Six of the New York Post.

�As is often the case, Page Six of the New York Post failed to get any of their facts
straight. What should be embarrassing for Page Six is that the company
exploiting me by releasing this video is using footage that is more than six
years old. I addressed this tape in my cover story for SMOOTH magazine and
during an appearance on the Wendy Williams radio show. More so, the
footage has been circulating online for free for more than two years. For
this company to attempt to capitalize off of my recent appearance on �Oprah� by
repackaging this footage is both dishonest and despicable,� said
Steffans.
