Keke Palmer Stars in Imperial Dreams Alongside John Boyega
Actress Keke Palmer is super busy these days. She’s set to start shooting season two of her Fox series Scream Queens in March, and is presently out on the promo circuit talking up her upcoming appearance in Grease Live and the independent film Imperial Dreams. Stars Wars actor John Boyega stars in Dreams alongside Keke, who plays the actor’s imprisoned girlfriends Samaara. The project was originally unveiled at Sundance last year, but failed to secure a distribution deal. However, with Boyega’s new found fame, the director has chosen now to release a trailer in hopes of finally bringing his film to the masses.
Singer-actress Keke Palmer went the extra mile for Halloween this year, choosing to not only dress as the late singer, Aaliyah, but to also remake a portion of her Try Again video.
Keke shared pics of her transformation via Instagram, writing “@rennywasquez slayed this makeup and @CynthiaGlam slayed this hair. And a special thanks to #ScreamQueens wardrobe department (@LizzyBott) for remaking and slaying this epic Try Again costume. #HappyHalloween.”
Singer-actress Keke Palmer has released the video for her latest single I Don’t Belong to You. The visual is directed by Mia Swier and features cameos from Cassie and Rotimi.
Keke co-wrote and co-produced I Don’t Belong to You with Natalie Sims and London on da Track. The single is the lead track from her upcoming sophomore album, due out next year.
Keke signed with Island Records over the summer and is reportedly in the studio crafting new material. Rumored collaborations include a duet with with label mate Nick Jonas, who co-stars alongside Keke on the Fox drama Scream Queens.
Keke Palmer Attends the 2015 EW Fest with Scream Queens Cast Mates
Singer-actress Keke Palmer attended Entertainment Weekly’s first ever EW Fest over the weekend at the Industria Superstudio in New York City.
Keke and her fellow Scream Queens cast mates, Emma Roberts and Lea Michele, were joined on stage during a Q&A session by the show’s producer Ryan Murphy.
If you’ve been watching Scream Queens, then you know Keke plays Zayday Williams, a feisty, take no-shit sorority chick, described by Palmer as part Beyonce, part Michelle Obama.
Yikes! The Fox network is not having a very impressive fall season so far. Several of its sophomore shows have returned with less than impressive ratings (Gotham) and two of it’s freshman dramas have also failed to impress.
My favorite, Minority Report, got off to a shaky start on Monday night, and now Scream Queens has done the same. Via TV by the Numbers, the teen horror fest drew 4.4 million viewers for its two-hour premiere last night, garnering a modest 1.7 in the coveted 18-49 age group.
Did you ever think you would see True Jackson, VP star Keke Palmer in Maxim magazine? Well, the 22-year old former child star is all grown up now, and not above posing in her t-shirt and panties to prove it.
After being granted an advance preview of the new Fox horror fest Scream Queens, I have decided to write a mini-review for Brown Sista, despite the show not being something I would ordinarily watch… ever.
Starring Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande and Keke Palmer, Scream Queens is unabashedly aiming for the advertiser coveted teen demographic. The show is essentially Mean Girls meets Friday the 13th.
Keke Palmer Signs with Island Records, Preps Album Release
Scream Queens actress Keke Palmer has signed with Island Records and is working on a new album, her first since 2007’s So Uncool.
Keke’s first single is expected to be released next month in conjunction with Island Life’s all-star concert in New York, which she will be co-hosting this year alongside Canadian singer Shawn Mendes.
Promo Shots: Keke Palmer for “Scream Queens”
Fox has unveiled the new character posters for their upcoming fall horror fest Scream Queens, which co-stars former True Jackson, VP star Keke Palmer.
The show is set to premiere with a two hour special this fall on September 22, and centers around a creepy sorority house and a string of unsolved murders.
Keke plays Zayday Bubblegum, who describes her character as a cross between Michelle Obama and Beyonce.
