So, Kelly Rowland fans have been hitting me up on social media asking about the singer’s role on season two of Empire, which returns tonight on Fox.
As I previously stated, I have seen the first three episodes of Empire. However, I only saw about 30 minutes of tonight’s episode (The Devis Are Devils), so I am not sure if Kelly appeared in that one or not. The other two episodes, Without a Country and Fires of Heaven, I have seen in full and feature several flashbacks involving the singer’s character.
Is Kelly Rowland Signing to Roc Nation Records?
Is singer Kelly Rowland signing to Roc Nation? The 34-year old former Destiny’s Child member set off a avalanche of speculation when she Instagrammed photos of herself lounging around the label’s offices earlier in the week.
Kelly has been hinting at her return to the music scene for weeks now, and has posted snippets of several new songs to her Facebook page. Should Kelly make that move, she will be joining an exclusive roster than features some of music’s biggest names, including Rihanna, Shakira and Kanye West.
Singer Kelly Rowland is once again using her various social media accounts to share snippets of new music with her fans.
Earlier this evening Kelly took to Facebook to upload a short lyrics video to a song titled I Know What You Did Last Summer.
The song is a collaboration between Kelly and Jacob Whitesides, a 17-year old season two contestant on Fox’s struggling singing competition The X Factor.
Your First Look at Singer Kelly Rowland on Empire
As previously reported, Kelly Rowland will be appearing in season two of Empire. The former DC3 member will pop up in the season opener via flashbacks, playing Leah, mother of Lucious Lyon.
Fox has released their first image of Kelly and a young Lucious, which you can of course see to your left.
According to Kelly, it will be through flashbacks that fans get a better glimpse into the mind of Lucious. “We’ll get to see how his upbringing helped turn him into the man he is today,” Kelly told TVGuide. “It’s beautiful and tragic story, actually.”
Kelly Rowland Stuns in BCBG Black Jumpsuit
Kelly Rowland nailed one of my favorite looks over the weekend while attending the unveiling of Max Azira’s 2016 BCBG Resort Collection.
The 32-year old new mommy looked amazing in a fashionably-correct BCBG black jumpsuit, which she paired with strappy heels and minimal jewelry.
I love jumpsuits and no one wears them like Miss Kelly. This outfit was so simple and yet she stunned nevertheless.

On Friday night Kelly shared a fifteen second clip of a single titled No Pressure, which quickly sent fans, myself included, into a frenzy.
Kelly followed up No Pressure Saturday night with an untitled clip that was just as exciting as the first.

Singer Kelly Rowland is back with new music. Just moments ago the Motivation singer used her Instagram account to preview a new single for fans titled No Pressure.
The uptempo jam sounds like something we would ordinarily get from Beyonce, so much so fans assumed Kelly’s voice was Beyonce’s or that the tune was a collaboration between the former bandmates.
But nope. It’s all Kelly and it’s reportedly just days away from being released in full.
Season Two of “Empire” Gets Another Celebrity Guest Star
Kelly Rowland is heading to Fox’s Empire this fall.
According to the singer’s social media pages, Kelly will appear in several episodes via flashback, as Lucious Lyon’s mother.

Kelly channels singers Diana Ross and Sade; as well as models Bianca Jagger and Farida Khelfa Goude, who both ruled the late 70s/early 80s fashion scene thanks to their goth good looks and iconic big hair.
Of all her looks, Kelly says she loved the ‘Diana’ most. “You can’t talk about iconic beauties without including Diana Ross. She was everything. She has always been my beauty inspiration.”
