Kim Porter and her ex, Diddy, threw Kim’s 16 year old son by singer Al B. Sure, quite a birthday bash last night. The “Stunna 16″ Birthday Celebration as it was dubbed, was attended by Jermaine Dupri, Omarion, Bow Wow, Lauren London, Chris Brown and maybe a few of the birthday boy’s (Quincy) friends as well. Kim and Diddy presented 16 year old Quincy with a host of lavish over the top birthday gifts, with one of them being a white 1964 Lincoln Continental. Now I know many will think this kid’s party was too much but hey, he was raised since he was a child by Diddy. Yes, Diddy has been this boy’s father figure for some years now and I just gotta show Diddy some love for that. Not many men, rich or poor, want to take care of another man’s child but Diddy did it and did it well.

Ok, remember way back when we told you that Ciara had landed the starring role in the movie adaptation of the hit stage play “Mama I Want To Sing”? Well the first sorta mini-trailer has been released and it looks kinda interesting. There is no actual footage of any acting, just the voice of a female in the background singing (could it be Ciara) and early reviews from the film being splashed across the scene. Still, I got a Dreamgirls vibe from this clip as it appears this movie might just be a winner after all. A lot of people assumed with Ciara as the lead the film would be a critical and commercial flop, but I think Cici just might surprise us all.

It seems like Essence Magazine is getting all the scoops lately as they not only have the first pics from Usher and Tameka Foster’s wedding, but also the first in depth interview with Kim Porter since she broke up with Diddy. Kim doesn’t hold much back and basically concedes that the rumors about Diddy’s many infidelities and secret love child, are what led her to leave the relationship. Kim Porter, part-time model, part-time actress, and full-time fool for Sean Diddy Combs, has broken her silence and is speaking out to OK Magazine about what led her to finally leave the man she had attempted to build a family with for the past 10 years. On her reasons for leaving the relationship Kim says:
“I’d been in an on-again, off-again relationship with Mr. Combs for about 10 years, and it came to a point where it was time for me to move on with my life. I had invested a lot of time in that relationship, and it wasn’t going where it should have been going. So it was time to [end it]. In a relationship, it’s important that the people are on the same page at the same time. And we weren’t on the same page.”
