Don’t hold your breath waiting to see LeToya Luckett on the upcoming season of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Houston.’ Over the weekend the internet was abuzz with news that LeToya and her ex-boo Slim Slug would be joining the show when it airs later this year.
This news came as a surprise to LeToya, who quickly took to Instagram to deny the rumor. “Hey LOVES!!!!! So Yeaaaaa NO! I am NOT on the new season of ‘Love & Hip Hop Houston,’ she wrote. “Not sure where that even came from, BUT u can catch me on season 3 of Single Ladies on VH1 #Felicia,” she continued.
LeToya will be playing a music executive, a role she described earlier this year as one she is “familiar and comfortable with.”
As for when she will officially return to the music scene, LeToya hinted at recording a song for an episode of ‘Single Ladies,’ but said her acting career has pretty much kept her out of the studio.
Quiet as kept, LeToya has been beefing up her acting resume since 2010 when she landed a co-starring role in the Ashton Kutcher flick ‘Killers.’ Shortly thereafter LeToya landed the lead role in ‘Preacher’s Kid,’ HBO’s ‘Treme’ and the short lived comedy ‘For Richer Or Poorer.’
