TLC Biopic Gets Its First Trailer


The first trailer for VH1’s TLC biopic has finally been unveiled. Coming in at 2:08 minutes, the clip features lots of music and shows the depth the network went to recreate many of the group’s most iconic looks and videos.

‘CrazySexyCool,’ named after the 1994 album that catapulted the group into superstardom, stars Drew Sidora as Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins, Lil Mama as Lisa ‘Left-Eye’ Lopes and Keke Palmer as Rozanda ‘Chili’ Thomas.

The tele-drama is set to air in October and will reportedly feature a soundtrack of unreleased music by the group, as well as a few new tunes featuring rapper Lil Mama.

Brown Sistas Attend The “Notorious” Premiere

Naturi Naughton Just over ten years after his untimely passing, the life story of the late Notorious BIG is finally hitting the big screen. Starring Jamal Woolard as Biggie, Natauri Naughton as Lil Kim, and Antonique Smith as Faith Evans, “Notorious” chronicles the rise of the rapper, his relationships with the various women in his life- and of course his untimely passing- brought on the by the bullets of assailants who have yet to be found and prosecuted. The premiere for the film was held last night and of course the rap and r n’ b world were out in force. Stars, Naturi Naughton and Angela Bassett were in attendance. As were singers Mary J. Blige, Ciara and Beyonce.

Condé Nast Media Group’s Fifth Annual Fashion Rocks Concert

Monique Lhuillier gowns, Zac Posen dresses, Cartier jewels, and Lorraine Schwartz diamonds. What could make any celeb-fashion event better? — Music! Condé Nast’s 5th Annual ‘Fashion Rocks’ concert took place last night @ NYC’s Radio City Music Hall. Celebeauties like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Solange, Mariah, Mary J, and much more performed, but the biggest attraction was, of course, the fashion.

Music mogul Clive Davis held his Pre-Grammy Party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel this year and as always, the biggest names in music showed up to celebrate the biggest night in music. Above we have Janet Jackson, my favorite singer, joined by two of my favorite actresses- Nia Long and Sanaa Lathan.
