The Raleigh Hotel in South Beach, Florida has been the focus of the fashion world all week long as the swimming pool in the hotel has served as the catwalk for the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. The oddly named fashion event, which is in it’s fourth year, showcases swimwear collections from some the hottest designers and often has celebrity models walking the catwalk. This year was no different as up and coming singer Teyana Taylor not only performed at the event, but took to the runway as well to model swimsuits by Diesel. Other celebrities rumored to be walking the catwalk in various swimwear shows include, singer Rihanna and actresses Victoria Rowell and Elise Neal, both of whom are over 40.

Meagan Good was spotted last night leaving one of her favorite Hollywood night spots, Coco de Ville. The actress hasn’t been seen much since she finished promotion for her latest film, The Love Guru. The movie, which got horrid reviews, was probably meant to take Meagan’s career to the next level, but did so poorly at the box office no one will probably even remember she was in it. Luckily the critics only panned Mike Meyers performance and spared most of the remaining cast, Meagan included. Next up for the actress is Saw V (Halloween 2008), The Unborn (2009) and Caramel, a film where Meagan goes back to playing a teenager again.

Rihanna has stated that she is about 5′8″. If you’re tall, with long legs like Rihanna’s, then show off those long, lean legs this summer! These barely-there bottoms are perfect — spanned with links of diamante chain to add more jazz to your look. (I think the skulls and studded jewelry are very “Rihanna”).

                        
J. Hud is a perfect example of today’s ‘curvy brown sista’. She always plays up her curves in sexy, memorable, yet sophisticated looks. A tankini and boyshorts with drawstrings on the side, like this set, is a great match, because the rouching at the belly creates for a subtle camouflage, and the bottoms are adjustable, so you can take them from swim bottoms to boyshorts. Add black and gold accessories to top off this suit.

I’m having a case of deja vu. Didn’t we just see Rihanna and Meagan Good at TRL yesterday? Well it seems once wasn’t enough as these two sistas also decided to hit up BET’s 106 & Park on the same day as well. As you all know Meagan is promoting the Love Guru and Rihanna is promoting the release of Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded, which according to Hits Daily Double will sell as poorly in the first week as the original Good Girl Gone Bad did. It seems Rihanna will continue to be a singles artist and Queen of the downloads, until someone can figure out how to get people to buy her albums and not just a single or two off of the album.

Actress Meagan Good and the rest of the cast of her new movie “The Love Guru”, all hit up MTV’s TRL today. The actress was of course there to promote her new venture which hits theaters Friday, June the 20th. In preparation for the release of her new film Meagan has also been giving a slew of interviews lately and shared some very interesting and in my opinion, good, advice on how she handles rumors surrounding her relationship with football player Thomas Jones.
