Singer Keke Wyatt, best known for taking a knife to her husband’s throat, is back with a new album entitled Ghetto Rose and two new interviews guaranteed to get tongues wagging. AHHA first interviewed Keke who took a swipe at not only Beyonce’s vocals skills but looks as well. Keke laments “If you notice, I’m yellow. My natural hair is the color she dyes her hair. I have the little waist with the big booty. It’s all the same thing but I sing better, so it was their loss. Say I don’t sing better than Beyonce?“ Not content with making ridiculous comments to just AHHA, Keke then took her act on the road and decided to share her brainless ideas on race, skin color and the N word with Essence Magazine writer, Kenya Byrd. Movie mogul, Tracey Edmonds, has been getting major attention from the paparazzi lately because of her relationship with Eddie Murphy. Tracey was spotted running errands in Hollywood and trying her darndest to avoid the cameras. She obviously failed.

Speaking for the first time to an American publication, Malanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, gives Essence magazine the scoop on her relationship with Eddie and why she truly believes he so unexpectedly called their relationship off. Melanie tells Essence writer Kenya Byrd that upon agreeing to buy a home together she discovered Eddie led a lifestyle that wasn’t fit for children. Though not going into much detail, she claims having strange people knocking on her door at three and four in the morning was not something she wanted to bring her children into.

So many people reposted it on their sites to the point where friends of mine were sending it to me totally unaware that I had written it. I have decided to repost it here after reading several comments made by sistas throughout the blogsphere concerning Polow Da Don and his hairstyle of choice. Okay, I know from jump this will be one of those topics that is sure to upset both Black men and women, but you all know what I think- So What!

Like most people, braids on men never bothered me before, but the older I got the more they disturbed me as I found many traits I disliked seemed to be found in men with braids, or as I like to say, men who wear their hair like little girls.

It was a busy weekend for sistas as Rihanna, Alicia Keys, and Solange Knowles all attended big events. Solange celebrated her b’day down in New Orleans with big sis Beyonce by her side. While Rihanna and Alicia Keys participated in a much more selfless event, Live Earth. First up however is Solange who celebrated her birthday for the second time at the Essence Music Festival where Beyonce performed last night . Solange turned 21 years old and rumors are running rampant that not only will there be a Destiny’s Child reunion album, but that Solange will be added as a fourth member. So you guys remember that sometime ago we discussed Adina Howard and her possible return to the music scene. Well it appears that time is upon us as Adina’s new album, Private Show, is due to hit record store shelves this Tuesday, June 26th. The album boasts production from Black Eye Peas producer Poli Paul and to preview tracks you can check out Adina’s My Space Page . However, with songs like Tease and Phone Sex, I think it is safe to assume that the new Adina is as much a freak as the old one- an observation which I’m sure pleases her die-hard fans.

Singer Kelly Rowland has decided to search for the father she hasn’t seen since she was a little girl. Kelly was just eight years old when she and her mother were forced to flee their home because her dad was an abusive drunk. Kelly’s mom was unable to support herself and her daughter however and that of course is where the Knowles family come in. Mathew and Tina took Kelly in and the rest is Destiny’s Child history. Despite having her entire world turned upside down as a child, Kelly says she has forgiven her father and wants to reconcile. “I don’t know where he is but I hope he’s not dead. That would break my heart. I remember my dad being drunk and aggressive towards my mom but not me. It took courage for her to get away. I don’t know if he knows who I am or what I’ve done. He must be hiding under a rock if he doesn’t.”
