Speaking for the first time to an American publication, Malanie Brown, aka Scary Spice, gives Essence magazine the scoop on her relationship with Eddie and why she truly believes he so unexpectedly called their relationship off. Melanie tells Essence writer Kenya Byrd that upon agreeing to buy a home together she discovered Eddie led a lifestyle that wasn’t fit for children. Though not going into much detail, she claims having strange people knocking on her door at three and four in the morning was not something she wanted to bring her children into.

Tameka Foster, better known to world as Usher’s fiancé, sat down to talk to Essence Magazine about the innuendo, speculation and out right un truths that are often printed about her and her relationship with the much younger singer. Tameka pulls no punches and answers questions openly about her former husband, where her children are and if she really was the cause of Usher firing his mother as his manager. I freely admit to being a Robin Givens fan and always felt she got a bum rap from the media and the Black community in general who labeled her a gold digger. As you all know Robin married Mike Tyson back in 1988 when he was the World’s Heavyweight Boxing Champion and a beloved figure of the media. Their marriage was tumultuous to say the least and they were divorced just a year later. Tyson walked away from the short lived marriage unscathed but Robin suffered a career fallout and was labeled the most hated woman in America. Since then the sista has starred in a few low budget movies and appeared on a few shows here and there, but her career never really recovered and almost 20 years later, and at the insistence of Oprah Winfrey, Robin has written a book to finally tell her side of the story.

Singer Janet Jackson has been pretty quiet for most of 2007 but a recently posted message on her official website has many thinking that the singer’s imposed seclusion after the failure of her 20 Y.O album might be over. Janet speaks of her new movie with Tyler Perry, an invite only mini concert at the Atlantis - Phase III opening on May 11th., as well as special performances in London and Cannes. Her boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, also posted on his My Space page that Janet would have a single on the Rush Hour 3 soundtrack that he is producing.

Actress Meagan Good is gracing this month’s cover of Jewel magazine and touches on many subjects, including the lack of quality films in which she has been in. Meagan swears she wants to move beyond the Girlfriend role, but laments that opportunities for Black women are few and far between in Hollywood. Word is she also talks a bit more about the kissing incident with Jamie Foxx that ended her three year relationship with the oh-so-fine-lookin’-like-Lyfe Jennings, Jerry Manuel. Andrea Kelly saunters into the room with her stiletto boots clicking, her shoulder-length curls bouncing; she’s sparkling like the crystal hoops dangling from her ears. Despite her famous last name, few in the room know who she is. She’s used to that. Andrea has been ignored before, like in those posh stores near Chicago’s Gold Coast or in Los Angeles, where burly bouncers blocked her from crossing the velvet ropes—that is, until the gatekeeper found out who she was. Then it was “Oops.” Disbelief turned to immediate accommodation. And then came the apologies, “Sorry, Mrs. Kelly.” But mostly it’s, “I didn’t know he had a wife.”

I was trying not to post any information from the upcoming issue of Vibe Vixen that features Janet Jackson on the cover until I at least had the digital copy of the magazine for myself.It seems however that will not be happening so I am finally posting the entire interview here as well as the picture used for the cover shot which you can see to your left.In this interview Janet talks about the usual- Michael’s former nose, her former nose and her obvious love for Jermaine Dupri.She also touches on her relationship with his 9 year old daughter and her own future plans for motherhood.As usual, Janet does not give out too much information thus making this interview as uneventful as the rest she did for the 20 Y.0 album.The only good thing that came from this article was confirmation that Janet would indeed be going on tour later on this year.

The oh so fine- but married to a White woman, Terrence Howard was asked recently about his relationship with supermodel Naomi Campbell, and responded by claiming he was asked to Watch over Naomi by none other than Quincy Jones.Terrence went on to remind the reporters that he was a married man but stated that he still felt as though he had a responsibility to Look after Black women, and Naomi in particular. Poor Beyonce just can’t seem to catch a break these days.Forced to answer accusations that her new single ((Ring The Alarm)) is a direct response to Rihanna and rumors that she is too close to Jay-Z, Beyonce sent off a letter to Vibe.com explaining just why “Ring The Alarm” was chosen as the next single.Funny thing is, Beyonce never mentions the relationship between Jay and Rihanna, which is what the original Vibe article was all about.
