Summer Sequins: For Day & Night

A trend which is mostly and usually worn only around the holidays and winter, can also be worked into your summer wardrobe. I love sequins, and know a lot of other women do as well.

This outfit is perfect for any daytime event. There’s a lot of sparkle, but the crisp white top tones things down. When wearing a statement jewelry piece (i.e. the bib necklace; above), try to keep the amount of accessories worn to a minimum. One other added piece is good enough.

It keeps the sexy night-time look of the dress, without being too loud. To brighten up the outfit, gold or silver accessories, and even a sequined clutch can be added.

I’m obsessed with them, but I wouldn’t recommend them for someone with a wider foot — there’s not much extra room left inside.
