Tia Mowry and Pooch Hall Will Return for Series Finale of The Game

The big announcement was made at last night’s BET Awards, where the show’s cast gathered to bid farewell to fans. Pooch Hall surprised the cast, joining them on stage, saying “It’s not gonna be a final season without your boy. It’s not just me. Melanie is also back on The Game for the finale.”

Kyla Pratt and Brandy Join BET

Singer and “Moesha” actress Brandy Norwood will be joining the cast of “The Game” when it returns to TV on January 10th. The fifth season will also see the return of PJ Byrne (Irv), Gabrielle Dennis (Janay), as well as guest appearances from Estelle, Nene Leakes, Loretta Devine and Selita Ebanks.

And in another bit of BET news, the channel also announced the addition of Kyla Pratt to their sophomore series “Let’s Stay Together.”

Kyla’s last major TV role was as Brianna Barnes on the hit show “One on One,” which ran from 2001-2006.

The 25 year old actress recently made headlines again when she revealed news that she gave birth last year. Several websites took Kyla to task for having a baby out of wedlock, while several reported that the baby’s father was a former stripper- a claim Kyla vehemently denied on her blog.

Hoping to get more publicity for their celebrity marriage, Robin Givens and Malik plan a belated wedding reception, but Tasha decides to boycott the party since she believes their marriage is a sham and won’t support it. At the reception, Derwin and Melanie must face the reality of their complicated relationship after many people mistakenly congratulate Melanie on her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Rick Fox reluctantly introduces Tasha to his overly protective mother, causing fireworks to ensue between the two headstrong women. Additional guest stars include New Orleans Hornets’ Chris Paul and actors Tisha Campbell-Martin and Duane Martin who all play themselves in the episode.
